This song isn't as good as any of the singles from Breakaway, or as good as "Gone"...Hopefully her next song is more up to par with those.

I'm sure that her other singles are better than this but, unfortunately, those BETTER songs might not go #1 on hot100 like this. :/ But ill see them go top10 and have the longevity. :)

17 10 KELLY CLARKSON My Life Would Suck W... 5107 4217 890 31.697 +164 Spins +22 Bullet +0.944 Audience Excellent gain on 'Womanizer'. MLWS closed 300+ spins on that song in one day, and is now 697 spins behind. If MLWS can continue to close on 'Womanizer' at that rate, it will move into the #9 spot by about Sunday. Also, the bullet for MLWS remains strong, which is the best news to me about this morning's update. No offense intended to FLO RIDA Kanye fans, but I'd like to see 'Heartless' begin to lose spins at a faster rate now to make room for MLWS in the top 5.

This song is a beast. Wonder how many weeks it will stay at #1 once it gets there. I'd say at least 3 or 4 unless there is some extreme competition down the road.

Yay for 2 weeks in a row at number 1! Obviously its not going to be number 1 next week, but i could see it making a comeback if she performs it on idol around the time her airplay peaks.

um flo rida didnt sing heartless the song is doin great! #1 in 5-6 weeks! Thanks. My mind was on the strength of FLO RIDA's new song. When I typed that, I had just been slicing and dicing the numbers to see how many spins he is away from Kelly. Thanks to you calling my attention to my mistake, I edited my post to correct it. Much appreciated. :)

This song is a beast. Wonder how many weeks it will stay at #1 once it gets there. I'd say at least 3 or 4 unless there is some extreme competition down the road. 'Right Round' worries me a little. It's only 1845 spins behind MLWS. Also, at this stage of MLWS's move up the Top 40 chart, I'm worried it might not make it to #1. 'Circus', 'Sober', and 'Gives You Hell' are all strong, plus 'Single Ladies', 'Just Dance', 'Love Story', and 'Heartless' all need to start falling a lot faster than they are now. This is why I'm hoping that the bullet for MLWS remains really strong. On the other hand, MLWS has already more than done it's job, because it got Kelly two weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. So as much as I'd love to see it go #1 on radio Top 40, I'd also be happy if it peaked somewhere in the top 5.

If she hits #1 on CHR, all it will do is cause it to burn more on people. Everyone is going to know about this song already, #1 on CHR is not that important to me.

The public at large seems to only acknowledge the HOT 100 chart and the Country chart. It seems journalists as well only cite those two- the rest don't seem to matter much. Try to convince someone Fantasia had a #1 smash hit with "When I See U" and they will probably look at you like you're crazy.

^The Country chart? ??? Since when is that one the general public cares about? Well it certainly is in the South (Kentucky/Tennessee/Georgia etc).

What about the North though? I think they are more interested in the pop charts, just like they should.

I never said the Country chart was the most important chart or the one that most people kept up with but it is one that a very large amount of the US care about. Doesn't Country radio reach more people than any other format in the US or what was it that Country radio dominated exactly? I remember it being the biggest something...lol.

I guess it all depends on where that average person lives and who that average person is. lol

This single has been doing so good. I really hope that it's a good indicator about how the new cd is going to do.
