I hope the cd doesn't leak. I want her to get the highest first week sales possible. If she is performing this on Idol we may learn about it tonight. They may say who some mentors are since its the first night of the semis. THE CD WILL LEAK PEOPLE . get over it Every CD leaks (except for Taylor Swift "Fearless" lol) People who have intention to BUY the CD, will buy the cd (with or without leak) . people who doesnt want to pay money for the album, will WAIT until it leaks or available online. |

Yeah the CD will leak, you can't prevent it. But they can control when it happens, that said, I don't want it to leak until a week before.

Germany has the earliest release date March 6th, so i expect the CD to leak (at least) a week before the date. Once the label ships out physical CD to retailer, it's out of their control. I personally (on my selfisness) cant wait for the CD to leak, like RIGHT NOW!!!
And as soon as it leaked, I'm not waiting like some other fans, Im gonna burn it to a CD right away and listen to it non stop. I have no self control and i basically just dont get the idea of waiting when it is available in front of you, and you have been waiting for it for months.
Leakage didnt hurt Britney and Beyonce's number (500K +/-). Their album leaked 2 weeks in advance

I hope it doesn't leak prematurely (like, today) but I am realistic that it will happen at least a week beforehand.

If it leaks it won't hurt her more than it hurts others. I actually expected her album to be doing better on Itunes. I know it's just pre-orders, but I've seen others doing better.
Not that it says much though.

Thanks for continuing to do this for us, azriel. :) With another strong spin gain overnight, MLWS continues to chip away at the #7 spot. There are now 1619 spins separating MLWS and 'Heartless' (it was 1703 yesterday). This reduces the amount of time it would take MLWS to reach #7 by about a day. I'm hoping to see MLWS's bullet go back over 700. This morning on Good Day L.A., on the Fox affiliate here in Los Angeles, they did a nice promo spot for the album, and they played MLWS. If Fox affiliates around the country did similar spots, it could boost nationwide radio requests for MLWS. In the meantime, there should be some changes tomorrow. With only 73 spins separating 'Circus' from 'Just Dance', Britney should move up to #2. And, even though it's finally slowing down, 'Gives You Hell' should move up into the #4 spot. There are only 134 spins separating it from 'Single Ladies.' The situation with 'Sober' and 'Heartless' is interesting. Only 42 spins separate them. The rate of gains for 'Sober' appears to be slowing while 'Heartless' stubbornly hangs on, not gaining or losing much day-to-day. So, although it's impossible to predict with any confidence, the potential exists for 'Heartless' to pass 'Sober' and move into the #6 spot. 'Dead And Gone' could move into the #10 spot tomorrow. It only needs to close a gap of 143 spins between it and 'I Hate This Part.' In fact, as of this morning, there is a smaller spin gap between DAG and MLWS (1529) than there is between MLWS and 'Heartless.' So I really, really, REALLY hope the rate of spin gains for MLWS begins to pick up a lot of steam again. |

Thank You I feel like Kelly doesnt get enough credit for this. The single was available for download the day it went for adds officially on pop/hotAC. MLWSWY didnt 'cheat' its way to #1 at all. It just couldnt help it but to hit #1 =) |

Just for reference, both Funhouse & Circus leaked about 15-18 days before they were released in the US. Kelly's is out in the US in 19 days. So it very well could leak soon. Most leak about 10 days before their US release. I can't remember when Beyonce's latest leaked though. I think it was about 15-18 days too though. So I wouldn't be surprised if the album leaked in the next few days.

I think I Am Sasha Fierce (standard edition) leaked 14 days before the US release date. It leaked on Tuesday afternoon 2 weeks in advance if i remember correctly. OMFG! It'll be anytime between now until next Tuesday imo. |
