March 24th is the add date for this song, but I have no idea where it's from. The band is working on a new album with Dennis Herring, but they haven't said if they're done or not and Wind-Up isn't really saying anything on the band at all.
For those that don't remember this band so much, they used to be called Pilate, put out two albums, signed to Wind-Up, released the second album in the U.S. with a couple added tracks from the first, and then released the singles "Barely Listening" and "Into Your Hideout". And now here we are.
I think if Thriving Ivory is Wind-Up's Coldplay, then Pilot Speed is their Snow Patrol.

I loved their first album, second one not so much. I prefer the old name too, Pilate was an interesting name because of its historical significance. Kinda like Franz Ferdinand lol

^They should change their name to Pontius Archduke next. No reason why, I just really felt like saying that after you brought it up.

I thought their name was the singular version of Pilates...
(...which was developed by a German man with that last name, I learned, looking it up just now.)
Then again Pilot Speed could be an awesome1 sequel in the Speed series. Bus, boat...airplane? Huh? Huh? *Krusty the Klown's groaning sigh*
1 Pronounced "awful."

the name thing remind of the movie "That Thing You Do" "I get it ..... The Oneders(Wonders)...." "Yeah....it still says Oh needers" I'm paraphrasing the scene since it's been over 12 years since I last saw the movie, but at one point when they're announced as the "Oh-Needers," one of the guys, sick of correcting everyone and drowned by the applauding crowd, meekly protests, "No, that's the Oh- nedders."

Finally, an update. Wooden Bones comes out in April through Wind-Up and MapleMusic. It will be released to iTunes, not sure if there will be a physical release then too. Single is actually called "Put The Phone Down" and you can hear it now on their MySpace. www.myspace.com/pilotspeedTracklist is: 01. "Put The Phone Down" 02. "Light You Up" 03. "Bluff" 04. "Ain't No Life" 05. "Up On The Bridge" 06. "Where Does It Begin?" 07. "What Is Real, What Is Doubt" 08. "Today I Feel Sure" 09. "Midnight Fires" 10. "Wooden Bones" 11. "Open Arms" Song sounds good to me. Kind of actually reminds me of another Canadian band named Wintersleep.

Having Dennis Herring as a producer isn't always a bad thing. In '07 he was behind the Modest Mouse and (mostly) the Hives' release from that year.
