Does anybody know what happened to Tim Rushlow or if he is working on any new music? Did they ever even come out with a Rushlow/Harris album? If my memory is correct his last charting song was "Bagpipes Cryin'" - but i'm not sure how high it went.
I loved his solo album back in 2000 - which I think produced a top ten hit ("She Misses Him") before the record label went under. Were any other songs released from the album after "Crazy Life"?
The Right Now album by Rushlow was also quite good i thought, but I heard that he lost Lyric Street record deal after "I Can't Be Your Friend" charted. I know that "Sweet Summer Rain" got released in 2004, but I don't think it went very high on the charts.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had the chart history of Tim Rushlow - or at least a rough idea. Thanks so much!!!!

Funny you mention this... I just "googled" him today to see if I could find out what he's been up to lately. Found nothing.
On a side note, this topic may get moved to another thread.

Tim Rushlow's solo album had 4 singles: "When You Love Me" (#60), "She Misses Him" (#8), "Crazy Life" (#43) and "Love, Will (The Package)" (#52). Before that, he and Jeff Foxworthy charted in 1998 with "Totally Committed" at #70. Rushlow had "I Can't Be Your Friend" (#16) and "Sweet Summer Rain" (#42), while Rushlow Harris had "That's So You" (#57) and then "Bagpipes Cryin'", another #42.
No idea what he's done ever since Rushlow Harris got kicked off Show Dog, tho. He's probably hiding in a bunker somewhere with all the other also-rans that seem to have fallen off the face of the earth. He's probably got Brady Seals. And the other guys from Hot Apple Pie. And Brady's wife, former BNA artist Lisa Stewart. And James Bonamy, just because I have no idea what hte heck he's up to now.

thanks sooo much for the chart info!!!! i didn't even realize that "when you love me" was released as a single.
He seems to have a lot of "42" type songs that just missed the top 40...lol...i wonder why he keeps getting dropped from record labels? First Lyric Street, then Show Dog...

^Poor performance I bet. He just hasn't had the best of luck since leaving Little Texas, has he?
By the way, does anyone know who sang what on Little Texas' songs? I honestly can't tell Brady and Tim apart.

I wish Tim would just get back together with Little Texas...neither one can seem to make it on their own!
The weird thing is that Tim Rushlow has had some really great songs on his first two CD's - but things seemed to fall apart after the first single. Also, based on the initial response, i thought "Bagpipes Cryin'" would have been a bigger hit than it turned out to be...

The album that Rushlow put out on Lyric Street was outstanding. There were a number of potential hits on that record that never saw the light of day. I still think that LS really botched the album by waiting so long to release the 2nd single (they waited like 6 months or something). If they had pushed the 2nd single right after ICBYF fell off the charts, and went with either Right Now or Still I think they could've really been successful, but unfortunately they didn't. I still listen to that album on a regular basis though, it's a great listen.

I have always thought LS missed the boat with this album... and waiting so long to release a second single was huge mistake on the label's part. I was shocked when they didn't try to release a third single and, instead, dropped the band. "Right Now", "Still", and "Since When" are still played regularly on my mp3 player. Kind of random, but I was in a Bass Pro Shops close to here last week when I heard "Sweet Summer Rain" being played over the speakers. On a side note, kw9461, I've noticed from other posts of yours and from your last.fm songs that we very much seem to have the same taste in music. :)

Yeah...and also "Since When", "Speechless", or "God Only Knows" would have been huge hits i think...i'm listening to the CD right now actually! :) Going back to Tim's first album, I think he tried to go it alone after "She Misses Him", when his original label went under. That didn't go so well, but there were other amazing songs on that album also. I wonder if he will ever go back and so something with those songs, since he wrote a bunch of them...
