Is there a list of all dance radio stations in the u.s.? or maybe even the world? I was just wondering.. I know I see pulse, and I know of one in delaware but dance music isn't as big in north america as it is overseas so I was wondering if anybody has ever put a list together of all the stations in the cities in the u.s.? or if there's somewhere to find that information..
just wondering..

^Wow had no idea there was such thing as a "dance" radio station...wonderin how come they don't show up on Arbitron ratings (guessin they must be labeled as Rhythmic by Arbitron) Most of them aren't big-market commercial stations: WNYZ is a low-power in NYC on 87.7 FM. WCPT only does dance from 9PM onward. KNGY is a weak San Fran. market signal. KNHC, WBZC, and WMPH are non-commercial stations affiliated with a school. WDRE is on the Eastern tip of Long Island and only shows up in the Eastern Long Island ratings. The rest are satellite or Internet stations.

There used to be more dance stations in major markets like WPYM Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, WPYO Orlando, and the Boston station that changed its name to "Mike."

Wonderin if they were categorized as Rhythmic AC (def. know that 93.7 in Boston was)...cause def. never seen "Dance" as a category in any market's ratings

WPYM and WPYO were definitely classified as Rhythmic CHR. Not sure about 93.7/Boston.
