The first single from 20 Y.O. Ms. Jackson, if you nasty, hooked up with JD and Nelly on this summery midtempo. I thought this would perform similar to "All For You" and "Someone To Call My Lover". Anyways this was a hot at the time.

I hated it at first, but in the end I've grown to like it a lot. I was shocked by its R&B success, though. It wasn't exactly a great way to come back after Damita Jo.

It was alright I guess, kinda bland. I too was surprised that it was as big as it was on R&B.

I thought this was a decent song. It was nice. I was hoping she would have started that era with an uptempo, but this was okay. I preferred the remix Tony Moran & Warren Rigg did of it. Yeah it was a little on the cheesey side, but it took it up a few notches. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KV6mLDeiysM

Loved it. I knew it was going to be big at R&B and Urban radio.

It's alright. It's really boring, especially for a lead single.

Hated it. Too boring, it was not the song that Janet needed! Feedback was amazing compared to this.

I loved this at first but now... :X
She should have gone with Enjoy as the lead. :(

I liked this then (and still like this now) because of its low-key summery vibe. Anyone notice that the repeated motif in the production sounds like an ice cream truck? Her voice sounds slightly damaged.
I remember when Z-100 premiered it and played it four times in a row. The hype was pretty amazing at the time - it's too bad this was the wrong track to lead with.

I was really disappointed when this first leaked because it seemed so bland for a lead single. I wasn't really expecting much after she leaked that terrible cover of "Look Out Weekend" before this though. It grew on me after hearing it constantly on Urban radio throughout the summer, and I ended up liking it a lot. I actually think it was a smart single release because it was so Urban oriented. The support Urban radio was giving her started to wane a bit with the All For You album, and then she really struggled with the Damita Jo album. This was a nice return to Urban radio prominence. Even "So Excited" managed to go Top 20 at Urban as the follow-up. She pretty much threw that down the drain by releasing "Feedback" from her next album though. She kept trying to get back to the top of the pop charts when she probably should have been building her Urban and Urban AC support back up, because they're more loyal to older artists (especially Urban AC).

I loved this song from the Get Go. Generic for Janet's standards, but still a great track!

I was never a big fan of this one back when it was released. It's tolerable now, but not amongst my favorites.

Ah, memories. I graduated that summer and heard the song a few times, it grew on me over time. Now it's one of my favorites...it doesn't translate that great live though (needs a little kick and bite in it), but the remixes are nice.

This was a bit better when it was called "Dilemma." Never really got into this one (or anything from 20 Y.O..

It's a nice song, not great, not skippable.
This wasn't a strong lead single at all. Actually, until "No Sleeep" it stood as my least favorite Janet lead single.
