OK, guys, I'm gonna need a little help with this one. Since I had a headache last night, I decided to lie down and rest my eyes. As a result, I dozed off and slept through the second hour. So if someone could post songs 7-13, I'd appreciate it. Meanwhile, here's the portion of the show that I heard:
LC TC SONG/ARTIST
03 01 The First Cut Is The Deepest/Sheryl Crow
01 02 Forever And For Always/Shania Twain
04 03 You Raise Me Up/Josh Groban
05 04 Unwell/Matchbox Twenty
07 05 White Flag/Dido
02 06 Calling All Angels/Train
06 07 Drift Away/Uncle Kracker f/Dobie Gray
09 08 100 Years/Five For Fighting
08 09 Dance With My Father/Luther Vandross
12 10 Ain't No Mountain High Enough/Michael McDonald
10 11 Big Yellow Taxi/Counting Crows f/Vanessa Carlton
11 12 Invisible/Clay Aiken
13 13 You Make Me Feel Brand New/Simply Red
16 14 Here Without You/3 Doors Down
15 15 Look Through My Eyes/Phil Collins
17 16 Why Don't You & I/Santana f/Alex Band
19 17 Love's Divine/Seal
20 18 This One's For The Girls/Martina McBride
18 19 Fallen/Sarah McLachlan
XX 20 Buy Me A Rose/Luther Vandross
AT20 Extras:
The Heart Of The Matter/Don Henley
In Your Eyes/Peter Gabriel
What's Love Got To Do With It/Tina Turner
Cat's In The Cradle/Harry Chapin
Long Distance Dedications:
There You'll Be/Faith Hill
So Far Away/Dire Straits
AT20 Archives:
1980: Longer/Dan Fogelberg
1986: These Dreams/Heart
1990: Love Will Lead You Back/Taylor Dayne
1991: Coming Out Of The Dark/Gloria Estefan
2001: This I Promise You/'N Sync
(Note that on the AT40 website, "Cat's In The Cradle" is listed with the Others (Big Hits From The Past), but I was awake long enough to hear that it was an extra - forgot the story behind it though).
The upper portion of the chart was quite a surprise. When I saw that "Unwell" and "White Flag" had moved back up, I figured that Josh Groban's song was the one that had dropped out of the Top Five. When they played it, I then thought it must have been Sheryl Crow. When Casey teased the number one song, I wasn't by the radio and when I came back, Casey was announcing that there was a new number one song, I was like, "Well Train finally made it" You can imagine my surprise when he got to the number one song. Train must have taken quite a dive this week. I imagine that it was at number six, but I could be wrong. Either way, it's very unusual for a song to fall out of the Top Five from the number two position. People must be getting tired of that song.
EDIT: Thanks to at40fantoo for posting the songs I didn't hear.
