Dead @ Dream. I believe it though. I mean once I saw him with his assistant or whoever on the beach, it was all downhill.

One In A "Milian'Sunday, August 05, 2012 A virgin to The Rock, R & B songstress and actress Christina Milian is loving her first visit to our fair isle. The gorgeous, curvaceous Milian — who just renewed her contract for another season on the hit NBC reality series, The Voice — is here for a photo shoot with B3 Caribbean Magazine for their September issue. The shoot is no mere coincidence as Milian's Caribbean connection extends to her Cuban parents and her agent being Jamaican. In-between photo sessions and being treated to true Jamaican hospitality, Milian was gracious to entertain SO's questions. How has the trip to Jamaica been? What has been the highlight? It's my first time here but it's been amazing. The sun, the people, the water. Going to Rick's and watching my friends jump off the cliff was a lot of fun. But riding the catamaran and having a REAL dolphin encounter was incredible! We turned the boat around, watched them swim around in the waves, and they even swam right next to us. How did the photo shoot with B3 Caribbean Magazine come about and what has your experience been shooting for the feature? My agent, April King at WME, is from Jamaica and knows Claire at the magazine. She called me one day and asked if I was interested in doing a cover shoot in Jamaica and said I could bring my family. I was immediately excited and said yes! It was smooth sailing from there. The B3 team was great! Beyond the photo shoot they made it the ultimate experience. While out on the shoot, they also gave us a taste of Jamaica, taking us to an authentic Jamaican restaurant. The glam team was amazing as well, so I felt right at home while getting ready for my shoot. What's up with your music career? Can we expect anything new soon?I just got signed to Young Money by Lil' Wayne, Baby and Mack. I'm really excited with the material that I'm working on. It's awesome and really represents a free, fun me. A single is coming soon. What's it like working on The Voice? Are you on board for the new season? It's great. I'm on for next season and have been shooting already. I love working with the stars of the show and the artists on the show inspire me.Who is your favourite judge on the show?I love them all. But I must say Blake Shelton is a very candid and fun guy. What are your style must-haves?Anything that has bright colours. Cover-ups for the summer. Stuff I can wear to the beach and club. Things that are exotic and sexy... and a great pair of heels. Are there any plans for more films in the pipeline? Not yet. The Voice, my album and designing my swimwear takes a lot of my time. I did a collection for "Nicolita" Swimwear called Havana Nights. We launch in 2013, but we just had our fashion show in Miami and it's already a success. The Voice is up for an Emmy for Outstanding Reality Competition next month. Will you be attending the show?I hope so. The show has made me feel very much a part of that nomination, so I'd love to attend and support. Can you tell us at who you'll be wearing to the Emmys?Sorry, I don't know yet.Do you ever think about what critics will say when you're choosing your red carpet looks?I definitely think about it, but at the end of the day I like to do me and take chances. If you weren't in the entertainment business, what other profession would you be in?Hmm, I have no idea. I couldn't see me ever doing anything NOT in entertainment. I was born for this. I love it.

'The Voice' Season 3 format changes: Plus, will there be new coaches in Season 4?By Carina Adly MacKenzie August 13, 2012 1:16 AM ET NBC's "The Voice" singing competition usually begins at mid-season, but this year, they're kicking off the fall in a big way. Coaches Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, and Blake Shelton will be back -- along with host Carson Daly and social media correspondent Christina Milian. Additionally, the show is (of course) keeping the trademark blind auditions as is... but as executive producer Mark Burnett confirmed at a press conference at his Malibu home on Sunday, there will be some major changes. First of all, "The Voice" is kicking up the tension in the Battle Rounds. After the blind auditions, the contestants go head-to-head with members of their own teams -- but now, instead of sending the "loser" of the Battle Rounds home right away, the other coaches will have the opportunity to "steal" them from their original coach! If they see some potential there -- or think they can do a better job than the previous coach -- this should lead to some fireworks. After the Battle Rounds, we'll see a new "Knockout" round, in which each team will be ruthlessly cut from 10 artists to just 5. This means that by the time we get to the live performances, there will only be 20 contestants -- 5 per team, as opposed to the previous 6. Burnett hopes that the slightly smaller number of contestants will allow viewers to get to know the artists better. The live performance rounds will proceed as usual. As for the future of the show, Burnett confirms that he intends to do another cycle at midseason, but he's not necessarily keeping Levine, Green, Aguilera, and Shelton in their chairs. In order to keep the coaches happy, he says, he's got to let them continue to pursue their own musical careers outside of "The Voice," and so he's looking into lining up a new group of judges for Season 4.

INTERVIEW: Christina Milian Talks Mommy LifeThe singer/actress opens up to parenting expert Audrey Griffin about baby weight, work-life balance and why she lets her daughter eat french fries By Audrey Griffin Christina Milian is a single mom who wears many hats. A recording artist, working on her next album and just signed with YMCMB, she is also the social media correspondent for the hit show, The Voice and the designer of a swimsuit line. However, the most important title that she wears is 'mommy' to her gorgeous two-year-old, Violet. As we sat down to chat, I let her know that her face should be next to title 'Superwoman' in the dictionary, because she is balancing it ALL with such style and grace. Christina realizes that she does a lot, joking that her attention span forces her to work on multiple projects. Let’s find out what this supermom does to balance, work, staying in shape and spending lots of quality time with her little one. EBONY: So how do you balance it ALL?CM: I have always been a multitasker, when it comes to my career; I've been an actress, a singer and everything because I love to do what I do. We manage between my team, my management, we find a way for me to be able do everything I love and pursue all my dreams at the same time. As a mom, that's at the forefront of everything in my mind, so I'm always trying to balance. Whether its bringing Violet to work or the second I am done working, getting home to her. Even if I am just sleeping with her or just watching cartoons in bed, I know Violet values that. I try to make the most of every moment and just make it special with her, because its what matters to me most. When its time to go off to work, or workout, I have a great support system, a great nanny and friends who offer to help out whenever they can. EBONY: Does she get to come often to studio or the set of The Voice with you?CM: I actually don't bring her to the studio too often, because the whole creative process is happening and [when] she wants to play on the piano, it can be a little distracting. For example, if I am in the booth she wants to be in the booth with me. I have actually brought her in the booth with me before and tried to record, but she kept singing along with whatever I was singing and it picked up on the mic. So the few times she has come I will usually take a break from what I am doing and play music with her...she comes by The Voice and it's very family friendly, everybody brings their kids all the time. EBONY: As an NBA wife, I often clarify misconceptions about my lifestyle and how I 'have it easy.' Do you ever get that being in the entertainment industry?CM: I haven't heard too many misconceptions, but some how when you do manage to see me out and about doing what I do, even if it is going out or something that could even be a job. So if there is a misconception that my life is easy or like I just go shopping, it’s usually that I am having a meeting at a place where you can go shopping. Otherwise I would say most people have been understanding of what its like for me being a single mom and that I am very active in my daughter's life. EBONY: You look amazing and you got back into pre-baby shape very quickly. You lost 27 lbs in 30 days! What did you do and can we bottle it? (Laughs)CM: (Laughs) Thank you! I would say portion control. With a new baby, I was so active, drinking a lot of water. Eating a lot of salads, with beans, turkey, chicken, things that would make me full and small portions of pasta. EBONY: Is there anything you absolutely swear by when it comes to getting in shape?CM: A lot of cardio, drinking a ton of water, breastfeeding, hiking in the hills and go for walks… and I had to watch what I was eating. Because the eating was what kept the 15 pounds on that I was trying to get off towards the end [which] wouldn't come off because I was still eating regular and like I normally would, and I wasn't doing the two at the same time. If you want to get the weight off you have to do both. EBONY: What do you do or say now as a mom that you said you would never do?CM: That's a good question… She hasn't gotten to that age yet where I'm like, ‘Oh I would never do what my mom did.’ Let me think… well, she's eating french fries now and she likes french fries. And I was like, "Don't feed my daughter french fries" (laughs) but its one of those things you do what your child wants because it makes them happy, so I give her unhealthy food every now and then, but she still eats regular good food all the time. EBONY: Just a little treat here and there, never hurts. (Laughs) So what can we expect from Ms. Milian in the near future?CM: In the near future, other than I am working on an album, I am working on The Voice, I have a swimwear line coming out in 2013 that I pretty much been working on all summer for promoting it for next year, and its called Havana Nights by Nicolita, working on designing and meeting buyers and getting it in stores.

Is she recording? I wonder if "The Voice" would let her premire something on there. That would be a great opportunity for her. I actually liked 3 or 4 songs on each of her releases.

The Stafford Brothers Say 'Hello' to America with Lil Wayne: On Set with the Aussies...As Stafford Brothers’ introduction to a truly global audience, the video for “Hello” strategically showcases all of these elements around a romantic storyline between Chris and Christina. The real-life romance (or bad romance, as it were) that inspired the song came from its lyricist, Whitney Phillips. The demo Phillips produced with The City caught the ear of Lil Wayne last spring, and he expressed interest in doing a verse on it. Eventually, it was routed to Stafford Brothers, and then Milian through Blueprint label head Gee Roberson. “There are so many eclectic elements in it,” Phillips says of the final recording. “You have an EDM track, with an emotional topline, with a vocal from someone who’s been known as an R&B singer doing a straight pop vocal, and then you have Lil Wayne coming in, and it’s all fronted by Australian DJs. Somewhere it gets its own chemistry.” The chorus, “I never should have said hello / never should have let my eyes turn back / I was happy on my own,” was inspired by Phillips’ own experience with heartbreak, one that Millian says resonated with her. “I love that it means something,” she said on set at the video shoot. “It’s not just a regular party song. It’s something I can relate to, and I think a lot of other people can." “I have had somebody that I wish I didn’t get with,” she continues. “I met him at a party. I was 18 and of course I ended up dating him for 11 months. It was the craziest time of my life with this guy because he was a nutbag. He was one I probably should have passed by.” The track is the debut release for both Milian and Stafford Brothers on Lil Wayne’s Young Money imprint of Cash Money Records. In between filming for NBC singing competition “The Voice,” (on which she has the difficult job of talking with nervous contestants and making tweets sound interesting without being too edgy for quick, perky segments before throwing it back to Carson Daly) Milian has been in Miami working on her next album, which is slated to include “Hello.”
