Coincidentally, KRBE and Q100 were sister stations under Susquehanna. I would argue that Q100 could've been among the premier CHR stations in the country had Cumulus not bought out Susquehanna. Maybe not quite on the level of Z100 or KIIS, but could've been over time. Q100 would be nothing without The Bert Show. That show is THE best CHR morning show in the country, hands down.

I can get 2. The local CHR here in Lansing (WJIM 97-5 NOW-FM) and I can fairly reliably (though it is a little weak) get WIOG 102.5 from Saginaw. I can get WKFR from Battle Creek most of the time, but then, since it's owned by Cumulus, (aside from being the only CHR I can get that still airs Open House Party) it's not a real CHR.

I used to listen to the Bert Show when I lived in Atlanta. It is one of the best morning shows I've heard.

KTXY is the only CHR station we get. KOQL is our rhythmic station, but it's very pop leaning. I should point out that our local CHR is Zimmer Radio Group (YAY!) and our rhythmic is Cumulus (explaining why it's so pop leaning).

Where I live, at the NH/MA state line, I just get one: WXKS (Kiss 108, Boston). If I drive a half-hour south, I can pick up WPRO (92-Pro FM, Providence). Driving a half-hour north gets me WJYY (105.5 JYY, Concord, NH) and, if the wind is blowing right, WFTN (Mix 94.1, Franklin, NH).

WAEB/Allentown (B104) WIOQ/Philly (Q102) WKRZ Scranton (98.5 KRZ) WSBG/Scranton (93.5 SBG) - really a Hot AC but leans heavily toward CHR If I drive about 10 miles west I can get WLAN/Lancaster (FM 97). 15 miles north gets me WBHT/Scranton (97 BHT).

In Los Angeles there is CHR/Top 40 97.1 AMP Radio which is leaning Rhythmic to compete with crosstown Rhythmic outlet Power 106 which is very urban. KIIS FM has shifted their playlist back to mainstream pop. KGGI is a CHuRban type jack fm that plays old school Hip Hop & R&B current Hip Hop & R&B and pop music.

Here in Melbourne, I don't really have one proper CHR. There's two "hit" music stations here which tend to play the pop hits but also a lot of alt-rock/rock stuff that isn't really all that popular, particularly Australian content that I bet no one likes. There's another station that's like an all music mix, in which you can hear a current hit, or also some older stuff (that I rarely know, though). There's another 2 stations that I rarely listen to that seem to be indie based, then there's the elderly people stuff classical etc. No rhythmic, urban, country stations exist here. I suppose in US radio terms the first two I described would be very rock-leaning CHR's, while the third one might be that one AC station that plays 'Last Friday Night.'

I'm about an hour south of Buffalo NY and I can get 6 CHR stations, though Z103.5 only comes through on a clear day due to interference from 103.7 WRTS and 103.3 The Edge.
WKSE 98.5 Kiss 98.5 Buffalo, NY CKEY 101.1 Z101 Niag. Falls, Ont. WRTS 103.7 Star 104 Erie, PA CIDC 103.5 Z103.5 Toronto, Ont. CKFM 99.9 Virgin Radio Toronto, Ont. CHUM 104.5 CHUM-FM Toronto, Ont.
