This goes for Urban AC adds on Tuesday. This track is amazing! It's my favorite from "Worldwide Underground" and I'm really glad to see it get a release. It's a nice laid back jam. Additionally, it features the guitar work of Lenny Kravitz.

I really love this song. I don't see any big hits from the EP, but if by any chance she does score a hit, it would be with this one.

It's really a weird album, even for Badu... I do like this song the most, I mean don't get me a wrong, I still like it all even though it's weird. This is probably the best, I hope it does something.

The album sounds like Erykah wrote and recorded it on a major drug high. It's really good and creative because of this, but like you said, it's a very eccentric album and I don't see any major hits.

I never much cared for Erykah... in fact I disliked all of her singles. Then I fell in love with "Love of My Life" around this time last year... must've heard that song 800 times now and still love it. So, as a result I've been keeping an open mind for all new Erykah material.
That brings us to this song. It's not bad, but it's not good. It sounds like a Sade knockoff. It sounds like it was made specifically for in-store play in discount clothing chains like TJ Maxx or whatever.

This is most added at Urban AC with 17 adds. That's a pretty good amount for Urban AC. It's not really totally out of the ordinary but anything 15 or over is usually a good sign.

I don't care what others dislike about Erykah Badu, but I gave this song a listen and I was blown away. Urban AC is starting to gain ground on this song and I do hope it gets a lot of response. As Josh stated, Back In The Day is indeed a very laid back song in which sounded like Erykah recorded while getting high. I love it. This is her best yet. I wouldn't doubt for a second that it will blow up. Just watch.

I dont think this song will go very far. I hope it does, but I doubt it will. Im surprised that even after "Love Of My Life" radio wasnt very receptive to her

I really liked "Love Of My Life", "Bag Lady" and "Tyrone"
Danger was ok...but it got annoying fast
She never made a video for that one, did she?

She's not making any videos for this album. It's some artistic statement she's trying to make by not being commercial with this album.

The liner notes for "Worldwide Underground" are very "anti-pop star" as well. She also says that "Back In The Day" is about a time when there was no payola in radio, and the same 5 songs weren't played over and over, and the music was good.

I could see how that "Back In The Day" could be written about the whole commerical sell out of popular radio today. I love Badu for her sometimes distorted views on the world. But this is definitely one of those times she was right. It is a great song. One of the best I have heard her release. I am not sure why radio won't play her. But I can also see that her views can be off putting to some.

That's the first time I heard an artist comment on payola.
