Why is this stalling already? Its the follow-up to a hit and just about the only ballad right now at R&B radio.
This song takes me back to the R&B of the 90's... I don't know why but so many male R&B ballads that I love came out this time of year... "What Kind Of Man Would I Be," "Last Nights Letter," "We're Not Making Love No More," etc. This new Ginuwine song reminds me of all of those. I miss that kind of song on the radio in the Fall lol. I thought this song would fill in that gap this year, but I guess not :(
Does anyone think there's still hope for this?
And also, where's the video?

is there still hope? yes, but it needs some kind of boost, preferably a video yeah... i think it's a very nice song, i do have one complaint about it though... it sounds a lot like "differences" somehow... it's really nice but almost TOO nice, like it's really generic and simple. i dunno. it's got a +17 bullet at urban right now, if it doesn't start picking up soon it's probably done with.

I like everything about this song except I do not like the chorus.

It's pretty good.
I heard "Differences" on the radio today and was reminded of how good that song was.

Lost its bullet already. Wow, that was fast. I was predicting big things for this at Urban... but maybe I shouldn't have given the current state of Urban radio.

This is his second consecutive album where the third single flopped.

What was the third single off his last album?
Yea a while back he said something about his next album being all Timbaland production, and he made it sound like it was coming out sooner than expected.
Maybe he has put "The Senior" to bed, and has begun to focus on his next release. He might as well, at this point.
He had two Top 10 hits in "Hell Yeah", which no one seemed to like, but was still a pretty big hit for him, I never understood that (how no one liked it, yet it was such a hit) and of course In Those Jeans, which fared even better than its predecessor.
I thought "Sex" was going to be the 3rd single off "The Senior", because Flow 93.5 here in Toronto was playing it for a little while there.

What was the third single off his last album? I don't remember the title, but a song after "Differences" made the Gavin Urban Top 50.

I can't even remember what Tribute to a Woman sounds like...lol I always thought "Differences" was the 1st single So did I. "Tribute To A Woman" was very boring. "Differences" spent three weeks at number one on my personal chart and "Tribute To A Woman" didn't even chart. Most people say the majority of songs I like are very boring, so if I thought "TTAW" was boring, you can bet that it was extremely boring.

I just looked at All Music Guide, and "There It Is" was the first single. It hit #66 on the Hot 100 and #18 at Urban.

Bullet is now over +100. Maybe this'll be a slow rising, mid-teens peaking kind of single.... to be honest I don't care where it peaks, I just want it to stick around through the end of the year.
