Hoping for another good update tomorrow.
And ...
Emergency 911 needs to be a single, along with SOS.

I'm think the album definately has a shot at opening at #1 even if it only sells 95-100k. My prediction is that the chart will look something like this: 1. Jordin (debut) 100-105k 2. Daughtry (second week) 90-95k 3. Black Eyed Peas 65-70k 4. Hannah Montana (third week) 65-70k 5. Demi Lovato (debut) 60-65k I doubt Jordin will do 100k. I'm thinking about 60-80k. I do hope, for her sake, that she gets the top spot. It would be awfully sad for Daughtry to outsell her in his second week. I'm sad to say this but I think there's definitly a possibility that may happen.

I don't think Daughtry will pull in amazing numbers for their 2nd week, not with the way No Surprise is performing.

top 10 in UK Midweek! YESSSS! Won't stay there sadly as the week progresses. :( She released it to iTunes too quickly and should have waited for airplay to build up.

It wouldn't be the first time a Disney diva beat an American Idol (see "My December" vs. "Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus")

I don't think they count airplay, but she has iTunes sales and the Physical release was yesterday. So i don't see why it wouldn't stay there ???

I think most people are over-estimating Jordin's next album. Battlefield is performing underwhelmingly almost everywhere.

It's going to take a lot for the album to go platinum, I have a feeling.

Yeah I know but if they had waited until more people had heard it and then put it on iTunes, it probably would have gone top 5. Instead they put it on iTunes early and sales have been staggered over the weeks and now it most likely won't get a top 10 peak.

Well,I dont even care anymore what she sells her 1st week.If she sells 25K,I will be happy because at the end of the day she gets to make music and I the get to listen to her amazing voice and that's all that counts. And I love how she doesn't rely on controversy or "sex" to sell records. So 25K,100K,200K it really doesnt matter. To me,anyway and sometimes being underrated is even better than being overrated.

I think its doing OK, to get a top 20 hit in the UK is no mean feat, there is a lot more competition than there is in the US. The key is getting airplay on Radio 1 or 2, its a great advantage to have national radio station. I never understood why the US has no national coverage, yeah I know it has timezones, still they manage it with TV.

The US charts is a virtual closed shop with most international acts locked out. In the UK everyone has to compete on a level playing field.

There is, this is fact. The US charts is a virtual closed shop with most international acts locked out. In the UK everyone has to compete on a level playing field. That is a matter of variation, not size. Billboard has dozens of charts for a reason, Top 100's for most genres, whilst the UK has an official Top 40 and that's it. In the US, there are thousands of songs placing on billboard charts all throughout the country and thousands more eligible to chart. This misguided anglophilia of yours is causing you to blanketly fire off whole host of inaccuracies and biased generalizations.
