I am so glad to see that this song is doing so well on the radio. And by the looks of it she is going to be a huge hit on BillBoard too!!!

Good for Alicia
She was on 106 & Park on Monday and she looked WICKED! Very hot
I like this song, but the length and the call interlude take away from it, a little bit...anything in a song that makes you want to change the channel or fast forward, isn't a good thing
Other than that, it's a great song, but those factors do take away from it
It could be flawless without them...and I'm sure there is an edit without them

I really don't see this hitting #1. The chart run reminds me of "I Know What You Want" so I'll say #6, since this won't have the help of CHR/Pop.

Yea I dont see Pop embracing this like they did "I Know What You Want"
I predict a peak of #7 or 8 on the Hot 100
it will be a #1 on Urban or Rhythmic, much like Monica's "So Gone", but pop won't help it out much...So Gone peaked at #10 on the Hot 100...so I'll just say Alicia will do a bit better and reach # 7 or #8, kinda like Ashanti's "Rain on Me"

Urban AC Greatest Gainer Position: #10 Spins: 647 Bullet: 186 Audience: 8.431
We'll probably see some more Urban movement tomorrow.

Will it be Number 1 for 2004 on Urban Adult Contemporary?

I highly doubt it, considering it came out at the beginning of the fourth quarter of this year and there is still going to be two more releases from "The Diary Of Alicia Keys".

I highly doubt it, considering it came out at the beginning of the fourth quarter of this year and there is still going to be two more releases from "The Diary Of Alicia Keys". And from her first album on the Billboard Hot 100, "A Women's Worth" and "How Come You Don't Call Me" didn't do nearly as well as "Fallin'." Where did "A Women's Worth" and "How Come You Don't Call Me" peak on Urban Adult Contemporary? "halfcrazy" lasted a long time on Urban Adult Contemporary he released a ballad after that. "Take You Out" lasted a long time on Urban Adult Contemporary and I think gave "Can Heaven Wait" recurrentitis. Then "I'd Rather" was a hit. Where was "Take You Out" on the 2002 Urban Adult Contemporary year-end chart? On CHR-Pop if you have one of the most popular songs of the year the next single gets recurrentitis or something. Examples are "Kryptonite," "Hanging By A Moment," and "How You Remind Me." Even if Alicia gets Urban Adult Contemporary Number 1s from other singles, "Bye Bye Bye" was Number 2 for the year on a CHR-Pop with a followup that went to Number 1. You can have multiple Urban Adult Contemporary hits at once, I forgot who but I think somebody had a song in the Top 15 and two of the Top 5 recurrents at once (three songs in the Top 20 or 25 Sans Recurrent Rule). It may have been Maxwell.

It wasn't Maxwell. "This Woman's Work" and "Lifetime" were the top two recurrents but the first single "Get To Know Ya" was long gone, and also there was no fourth single.

It may have been Luther Vandross, or it could be somebody I forgot the name of because they haven't released music recently. Or I may be wrong and it was just two singles. Yolanda Adams had at least two singles being played at once.

Alicia lost her Greatest Gainer title to Jay-Z at Urban and Gerald Levert at Urban AC.

I'm feelin' this one. For real, I like the entire song. I am disappointed that she had to use samples though. This is awesome. I am not an Alicia Keys fan, well, until now. I heard another cut from her upcoming LP (Dec.30, and guess whut, I am going to buy, on the real!

Well that audience per spin on CHR-Pop means her local station, Z100, can't be playing it much. The song can easily get 50 to 100 or more percent audience than it has now, so does that mean the album should have been released later?

There's absolutely no reason that the album should be released later. The urban market alone sold it 600,000 copies last week. The pop market will only help it a little in weeks to come.
