I hope her covering this song means that the next album might have a more rock sounding song. Thats one of the only genres we haven't heard from Brit.

I love how she is going to realize that people dig her live performances, and her ending smile was just perfect, it was almost like saying "Wow, that was good"

From a dance blog (with pics at the link).Britney Spears "Circus" Tour - A Must See!Now lets get one thing straight, I have never been a Britney Spears fan, ever. It just so happens that my best bud Chase Benz is one of her back-up dancers, and he hooked me up with killer seats and a backstage pass for free. So I said what the hey, and prepared myself for teenie bopper mania. I have heard a lot of great things about this tour, it being the third most popular tour of the year in attendance, revenue, and so on and so forth. Needless to say I went in with an open mind, my sister and I, and figured if it was horrible then at least I was spending time with family. IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!! This show seperates itself from any other act out there on tour now. Out of respect, other tours dazzle you with great music and lighting. But this tour is like going to see Ringling Bros, but with one hot chick and an amazing cast of back-up dancers. The lighting was amazing, the stage setup, I could go on forever. I have never been one to fully believe the media, especially when they are trying to tear someone down. But ladies and gents, if Britney has been "insane" or "losing it," I'm here to tell you that she is definitly back, and on fire. Get it girl.

I like how Britney (and Jive) are getting her with other producers. Tired of that Bloodshy $hit. And Danja dropped the ball this time around too.
However, one guy she can do NO wrong with is Max Martin. I remember for IN THE ZONE and BLACKOUT he was nowhere in sight. Fans were mad as hell.
While she is perfect at pop, I want some more hip-hop tracks from her. Boom Boom, Outrageous, and The Hook Up are some of my fave songs from her.

I want this new album to have some more rock and hip hop influences. I don't know how these 2 genres can be put on the same album but it'd be amazing if she somehow managed to make an album like that. That said, I'm super excited for her collab with David Guetta (Love Don't Let Me Go is the shit!) but I don't know if it's true cause I've searched his twitter and myspace and found nothing. Hopefully it was well-hidden.

^ FAIL.
That's why Max Martin produced BOMT CD is 14X platinum
And ITZ/BO barely scrapped by 3X and 1X platinum.
Max Martin made (and should always be apart of) her music career.

^ If Blackout or/and ITX were released in the 90's they would have sold as much, if not more--with the right promotion, of course.
Anyways, I can't stop saying OMG. David Guetta. OMG

Max Martin is an amazing producer but he hasn't evolved much from the 90s. He still does pure pop songs which is good but if Brit was to discover new genres she better work with him less. I'd prefer for him to have only one song per album, just like Circus. It wouldn't bother me though if he had zero contribution.

David Guetta and Britney? OMG, talk about magic. It's horrible ! This guy is a DJ not a composer or even a musicien I don't know how to play any instrument, and his "music" is so lame. It's just a horrible news. Britney is not Cher, she desserve better than crap Eurodance music ![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/lipssealed.png)

Wow, I'm away for three days and I miss all kinds of craziness! Since everyone seems to be over it, I'll keep it short and sweet. The YOK performance was my favorite of the Circus Tour so far, period. She sounded GREAT and looked AMAZING. LIVE VOCALS (that sounded good)!!!! If this singles collection thing really is happening, I hope this is the lead single from it, if only for the fact that we would continue to get performances of it. She really gets into this song. People can say anything they want about Britney, but it's moments like this performance that really show why she is the icon of a generation. With nothing but a mic and an emotionally tugging vocal, she connected to that audience (and to me) on a visceral level. There was no doubt in my mind that, regardless of the song being a cover, she truly felt every word she was singing. L.O.V.E. I.T. Does anyone have this performance ripped as an mp3? If so I would love a pm...Thanks Mack! ![](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0270.gif)

Confidence comes off more in YOK because that is a song she can belt out. Baby isn't a belting song.

She sang YOK again tonight! A person tweeting said it was even better than before. I can't wait to see a video. I realllllly hope this means that this is the lead single from the Singles Collection. That would be freaking amazing. AND everytime was live again. Damn, keep it coming! ![:d](http://images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif) I wonder where this sudden live vocal thing came from?

I want her to rock live vocals like this (with here and there dancing) I've never been crazy about that performance. The dancing and vocals were both really shaky; you could tell she was nervous as hell. Her performances of '...BOMT' on Leno and Letterman are better examples.

I think her best baby performance was on the Rosie O'Donnell Show.
Her vocals aren't shakey on Ricky Lake, they are how they would and sound sound when singing completely live and moving around like that.

Well, I think they were shaky. She danced the same amount and sang live on Leno and Letterman, and sounded much better.
