I'm not sure, I didn't catch the title of the song, but Baby and Mannie Fresh were on 106 & Park last Friday, and said Juve's album is still due on December 23rd.
That is a weird date, I mean, two days before Christmas and the day before Christmas Eve?
I think it will probably be delayed to January.
Anyways, they said Mannie produced the first single. Im anxious to hear it.
Where did you hear it?

I know from 1999 that rappers don't mind releasing albums in December. Tupac and the Outlawz, Juvenile, Jay-Z, and DMX released albums on December 7, 14, 21, and 28, 1999 in that order if I remember correctly. Tupac and the Outlawz debuted at Number 7, Jay-Z and DMX debuted at Number 1, and Juvenile debuted in the 11-15 range if I remember correctly. All of them were Hot Shot Debuts except I don't remember if Juvenile was one.

Yea, Nas released "God's Son" on December 13th or 16th last year, I believe.
I can see albums being released on Dec. 2nd, or 9th, but once you hit the 16th, I think it starts to get iffy, IMO. The 16th, 23rd and 30th of December, to release an album?
I guess it is possible, anything is, and it has been done before, but it just seems like not the best move, but what do I know?
I'd rather Juvenile release his album on Dec. 23 than see it delayed, as is the growing trend with album release dates these days, anyways. But it won't make a difference, as I don't plan on purchasing this album, regardless.
I do like Juvenile, somewhat, "Back that Azz Up" was a classic, I loved that, and everything he's done since hasn't really lived up to that, I think he had a song called "Set it Off" a few years ago, he was on an island in the video? That grew on me, but wasn't nearly as good as Azz.
He has that Louisiana New Orleans drawl to his rap that makes his flow intriguing, to me anyway.
I just hope this first single is a hot one, but I wont be too disappointed if it isn't.

The last I heard,I though Juvenile had left Cash Money. What happened? Did they kiss and make up?
A friend of mine told me that Juvey had even recorded a diss track aimed at Cash Money that was absolutely horrible. He said the production/beat on the track was done by Juvenile and it was absolutely terrible. I guess Juvenile might have realized that he needed Manny Fresh's beats in order to have any chance at another successful album.
After listening to the song, Juvenile *might* get lucky and squeeze a Gold album out of this one. Am I the only one that thought that "Got it From her Mama" song was good?

^ haha I liked that song too!
I forget the actual title, though.
I loved every song Cash Money put out back when they were the "it" label in rap, a few years ago.
Juvenile did leave Cash Money for a while, but I guess they convinced him to come back.
Mannie Fresh produced the first single, which I'm guessing this is it.
