The theme to the new film remake of "Fame" sung by Naturi Naughton (formerly of R&B girl group 3LW) is being remixed by Bimbo Jones, Chris Cox and Paul Oakenfold, among others. So excited by this! I am a big fan of the Irene Cara version from back in the day. I sorta liked Suzanne Palmer/Bill Bennett's remake. The vocals were good, but the production on many of the mixes wasn't that great.
I kinda like this one. The production on the Chris Cox mix is really nice.

Yeah, Bimbo's a little different, but just... mmm... I don't know. That little electro thing bopping around is a little something.
Chris's has a better bridge, but less interesting the rest of time and I guess it bother's me because it goes a little different musically, although I do like the overall sound of it from him.
I think it's because I am just so used to the original, dramatic song. I'm going to give them a few more listens.
