Probably my song of the summer in that it's about the only current song I've been enjoying that "feels" summery to me.

So if this went to radio (AAA) a year ago and there was a second single sent there earlier this year, why has this recently turned up on the Pop chart and now the Alternative chart, several weeks later? Did this song get used in a TV show or commercial or something?
And I'll forever remember Spearhead (Michael Franti didn't separate himself from the group back then) solely from their MTV Buzz Clip 14 summers ago, the socially conscious "Hole in the Bucket." I've been keeping track of their singles over the years ever since, though I could never be bothered to seek them out, they were so under the radar all this time and HITB wasn't really that great of a song to begin with.

Did this song get used in a TV show or commercial or something? It's a West Coast thang. The song is on like 6 stations, and 4 or 5 are in the west - KROQ, XTRA, a Portland station, and I think a Seattle station.

With the new Matisyahu around, this isn't really a big stretch for the Alternative chart, as the song is totally reggae itself. Crossover because as WotUNeed said it has a real summer vibe.

Whatever happened to this Michael Franti? :'( He's only a few years removed from the very politically-charged "Yell Fire". I think he's allowed to do a happy song every so often.
