When the hell did THIS get such a big bullet on Rhythmic? Because it features R. Kelly Having said that, I saw the video for this song the other night... the video is awful and the song is only about 10,000 times worse.

I like this song a lot and I can't wait for his album. That's all I have to say.

I really like this song, it's catchy
but I agree, R.Kelly makes it, and without him this wouldn't be going anywhere
Nick Cannon is relying on guests and collaborations for a rising musical stock, because I dont know if anyone remembers his supposed "1st single" in the summer, "Your Pops Don't Like Me", which sucked and went absolutely nowhere.
Then he regroups and teams up with R.Kelly and B2K for "Feelin' Freaky", which got more airplay than the first single, but still didn't really blow up. Now he has "Gigolo" and it is doing fairly well, plus "Shorty" featuring Busta Rhymes, Chingy and Fat Joe, produced by Just Blaze, the first single off the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" soundtrack, and it has just been announced that Nick's next single off his self-titled debut solo album due Tuesday (Dec. 9) will be the Mary J. Blige duet.
I haven't heard that song, I wonder if it is up tempo, mid tempo, slow, or what. and who produced it.
He also has Nivea, Ying Yang Twins, Biz Markie, B2K, R.Kelly, and Mary J. as guests on his album, I dont know if B2K and R.Kelly did anything other than what we've already seen put out, but hey.

Hopefully Nick Cannon's rap "career" will go nowhere. You can't just spend ten years on a kid's TV channel and record songs like "Parents Just Don't Understand and then try to become a thug rapper all of a sudden and expect everyone to respect you and take you seriously. Not to mention his "songs" blow.
Speaking of which, I wonder what's going to happen when all his 8-year old Nickelodeon fans go out and buy his album.

I like this song a lot and I can't wait for his album. That's all I have to say. I agree, I like this song too. The song makes me laugh. It's so hilarious to me. LOL. In fact, I think Nick Cannon is rather comical guy, whenever he acts. I admire his playful nature, and his not taking life too seriously, "all the time" kind of attitude. It is interesting that he went on a limb to test the waters with a rap career. I'm glad to see him proving himself with "Gigolo." R. Kelly has helped him along. He is a person in the entertainment industry that I'd least expect to pursue a rap career. I saw him perform this song on an episode of Showtime at the Apollo a week or two ago.

His songs get more and more risque. He probably didn't want to drop the Nickelodeon audience all at once, but gradually. I think that was a good idea.
Everyone in my literature class knows the "shorty call me a scare crow, I'm lookin' for some brains" line.
Album in stores on Tuesday.

Really good song, because of R. Kelly (as you guys said)...And the hook is really catchy...Nick Cannon, however, has proved to pretty much lack any actual musical talent whatsoever, and I'm including "rapping" here, since he released his first single...Cannon should stick to acting, at least he's somewhat okay at that... But R. Kelly's a talented guy...I fear he may be working with Cannon just to get close to the dozens of 14 year old girls that are Cannon fans, but meh ...

You can listen to his whole album at music.netscape.comSadly, I wasn't too impressed with the first 20 minutes of it.
