Hmm.....I think someone questioned this...can you buy the singles off of re releases on Itunes?
I kind of thought that is what AIEW was....
I love Kelly in all her different incarnations as well....but you have to admit a "dance" sound like Britney and the like, I admit, I don't know what to call that, I know it is pop music, but....anyway, the image that an artist needs to have for that style, doesn't seem to fit Kelly IMO, while she may like that music, I can't see her doing that style, but I could be way wrong.
And the music that I describe as "dance" sound for Kelly is like the Killers, Depeche Mode, stuff like that....more "New Wave" dance sound, if that makes sense.
As far as Kelly not going along with a re release, she has no control over that BUT I CAN see her saying
"ok, if we are going to do this, let's put as much stuff as we can on it to give the fans the most for their money"

Billboard updated their Danja article and took Kelly off his upcoming projects.

I don't see her doing a duet with David Cook- doing so would sort of make her look like a "loser" because he's not that popular and his singles flop- it would not do anything for her though it would make him look better.

The fact that Kelly was taken off the Danja article actually lends more credence to the idea of her working with him.

^ How so? When they removed the article about Save You, that made sense because the album wasn't out yet and they didnt want to blow the news too early. But a general statement that Danja is helping multiple artists with future projects doesn't seem to warrant taking anything down. If some bustle caused by this got to Kelly and it wasn't true, then it would make sense that her management corrected the writers and then they removed it. (I am hoping I am wrong by the way)

Maybe they removed kelly's name because they didn't want fans to expect something that wasn't going to happen (the re-release), OR they removed it because it was supposed to be a secret, and they knew fans were talking about it.

Because if the project is 'in development' and might lead to speculation or exposure of further releases (or re-releases) by the artist, labels want them kept quiet for as long as they can (or are ready to release statements about themselves) the same happened with the Daughtry thing. It's far more likely that it was a mistake for them to mention it, rather than a mistake as in they dreamed up her name in the article in the first place.

Well... the Daughtry thing never happened anyway! RCA said so! It's just an urban legend y'all... something that Chris, Kelly and Howard Benson made up in their minds.

Agreed. I'd be pretty disappointed if they did a duet, mostly because I'm not a big fan of his and I'd prefer Kelly to duet with someone I liked for my own selfish reasons. :)

You can even clearly see him and Kelly recording in the 'AIEW' DVD. I wouldn't be against a re-release at all, but I think I would rather just end the era after another single and the tour, and then release a new album during fourth quarter 2010. Sounds good to me.

Exactly this^^...and we know that Kelly's people or RCA's people, whoever, have been the Internet Nazis this era with info leaking. Things have mysteriously disappeared after a few hours....so the above makes perfect sense.
Personally, I would love a David Cook duet, I think they would sound good and I just think they are very similiar in personalities.

I'd like a duet with Kelly with just about anybody, popular or not. We haven't had one since "Timeless" was on Justin Guarini's album. I totally bought Justin's album JUST for that duet. I actually really loved it.

P!nk has always topped my list for a duet with Kelly. Both girls co-writing with Max Martin and Dr. Luke to create a big chorused pop-rock anthem would let me die a happy man.

Since the Grammy submissions lists are starting to leak, has anyone seen what RCA submitted Kelly for? I am curious if they put their money on MLWSWY or go for the possible huge ballad AG.

I would love it to be Already Gone, but I think it will be MLWS because of the huge amount of press it got for jumping 97 to 1 on the Hot 100, and staying there for a second week, as well as being very successful at radio.

I see MLSWY getting a Female Pop Vocal nod, anything else would be gravy IMO, hopefully a pop vocal album for AIEW.

They can both be submitted, but only one would be nominated (if at all). I hope they just submit one over the other. That way they won't have to worry about splitting votes for the nomination process. MLWSWY seems more logical based on the fact that it was #1, had high airplay, kinda brought Kelly back into the spotlight etc... AG is good, but I'm not sure how it would stand up against the competition. However, I'd rather see her get nominated for AG than MLWSWY. The latter being too similar to SUBG (which she already has a Grammy for).
