Has Kelly ever sung "Save You" live? One of my favourite tracks from AIEW so I'd love to see a live version.

I can't stop listening to Seven Nation Army, I would not have thought you could top the original but Kelly's vocals on that are just off the charts crazy. Loving the live version of Ready as well with the horns and some of the vocal flourishes she's been adding - it's hard to listen to that and not hear a single, but then that's true of so many of the songs on this album, especially live (and we haven't even heard what Long Shot would sound like live): ETA: Oh, and look: Self Magazine still loves Kelly: www.self.com/magazine/blogs/selfystars/2009/10/self-live-kelly-clarkson.html

Crummy sales figures indeed, but there's no reason that this album shouldn't be in the top 10, at least.

I really don't understand why Kelly doesn't release the covers she does. All she would have to do is add them to iTunes the way they did with Up to the Mountain. Anyone knows why this is not standard? It seems like a very profitable option.
I would definitely purchase HQ Versions of every single cover she has done, particularly the ones for this tour. I think most of her hardcore base would as well. She would make money, the record company would make money, and her fans would be very happy.
I cannot stop listening to her cover of 7 Nation Army... It's so good. But the latest versions of Walking After Midnight are also pretty incredible, especially the ending....

I thought Up to the Mountain was only released on iTunes as part of the Idol Gives Back event? Sales of those singles went to charity, right? I don't think Kelly has ever released anything to iTunes that wasn't on an album or a bonus iTunes song.

I would just like to make a complaint to Kelly that the tour version of AIEW skips the entire first verse! >:( It's my fav part of the album! Still glad it's the opening number though. (and 4th single)

BTW, other than Tip of My Tongue off the deluxe tracks, what are the songs Kelly wrote for this album? Already Gone If I Can't Have You I Want You Cry Ready Impossible What else do they have in common? They're all in the fall tour setlist.

Singing a cover at your concert is one thing, but I think going that extra step of making it into an mp3 and selling it is another.

To be fair during the summer tour she did perform Don't Let Me Stop You & Whyyawannabringmedown for a while. :) Although I think she should take out IWY and Lies for Long Shot and The Day We Fell Apart. Or take out those two to add in Sober and Maybe. Not enough MD songs.

I Want You is way too much fun live to drop, with the whole sing-along. You can tell Kelly loves the crowd interaction she gets on that.

The only slower tempo songs of hers that she uses is BOY, BTHE, and AG (correct me if I'm wrong). Everything else is quite high energy. As much as I love Sober and Maybe, I can understand why she didn't put it into her set list.

Not to mention Sober is pretty vocally demanding, she has enough hard songs to sing right now.

Yeah, while we're on vocally demanding songs, I can see why she dropped DLMSY and WYWBMD. So. Many. Words.
If any song, I feel, should be added and would fit right in, I would say How I Feel would've been a great addition. She seems to always have fun performing that song. Or even Thankful if she wants to diversify her set list even more.

DLMSY being dropped from the setlist after Kelly talked about it being hard to sing live is probably the final sign that it won't be a single. It never clicked live, in part because Kelly couldn't sing the chorus (because it overlaps with the verses). I can't see her wanting to do promo appearances for a song that doesn't work live.

Wait she should've taken out Breakaway instead of Lies and added something in. TBH, I have NEVER liked Breakaway. I don't mind listening to it if nothing else good is on but god to me that is my least favorite off of the album.

"Breakaway" is like, her most played song on radio (or the second most played) ever. I don't know why she would stop performing lol.

I swear there are too many good songs for her to have some of the songs she does on the setlist but I will stop complaining since her singing period is amazing.

DLMSY never clicked live. The recording is great though. That is very rare for a Kelly song!
Whya was great live but I think it strained her voice a lot and it really fit the summer tour setting not so much the setting now maybe?
I really hope we get to hear her perform TOMT and TDWFA at least once!

Wow! Kelly is doing FABULOUS! :) I have a question: Is Kelly booked for anything either 10-22, or 10-23? Because Fox just announced that Carrie is hosting an All Star Holiday Special, to air in December. The show pre-tapes on 2 nights, 10-22 and 10-23. So far, they have announced David Cook, Dolly Parton, and Brad Paisely as performing, but it mentions other performers to be announced soon. It is not just for country stars, since David will perform. I would DIE of happiness if Kelly took part in this! Since it is Fox, I can't see why not, as it seems it will be full of idols. lol www.thefutoncritic.com/news.aspx?id=8335

Breakaway just isn't a very good song, it's boring, and she's sung it a million times.
