According to wiki, they are saying that DLMSY is going to be the next single, citing the recent interview as the source of the information.

Kellys recent interview has been posted on here and she says nothing about next single.
But if it is true, they pick a song that Kelly isn't singing on tour and when she did sing it it didn't sound that great and Kelly has never spoken about the song.

I've leaned towards IICHY but I'd also be fine with AIEW. Those are the two choices that make sense for a January release, especially if the 4th single is the last.

2 years spans or less between albums is awesome. If I could, I`d go ahead, steal Pink from her tour and lock her in a studio. To think she has scheduled dates until August 2010. The follow up for Funhouse will probably come in 2011 and that`s just too much.
Off topic, sorry, but be thankful for what you got. LOL. This time Kelly can warm me up for Pink, the same way Pink did for some of Kelly`s die hard fans. Pop Rock FTW! And I just love how their career paths are somewhat alike and their fans can appreciate both even if they kind of appeal to the same public.

Speaking of P!nk, if I could, I'd lock them both in a studio. A collaberation from them is long overdue IMO.

^Agreed about P!nk.
Ps, is there anyone else would like to hear a song strictly wrote by Kelly? She's been apart of the co-writing process for a lot of songs, but none by herself, I'd be very curious to see what she could do..

I'm very curious. The only song we've heard that she wrote entirely, I think, is Irvine. I would love more solo kelly written song.

Aben is one of her band members. He also wrote Sober with her.
I was always under the impression she got full credit for Irvine, at least lyrically.

Kelly said that Aben sent her the track to Irvine and that she wrote the melody and lyrics to it. Aben...

LOL at Kelly wanting to dress up as the Kool-Aid guy for Halloween and not being able to find a costume. She should have just had Jason email somebody at the Express, she'd have had a home-made Kool-Aid costume on her doorstep the next day. ;)

She probably wrote all the lyrics and melody on the songs with her listed in the credits with this album. Including Already Gone.

What other songs did she write on her own, if anyone knows? Ryan Tedder talked about their songs together in Blender (I think), and said something to the effect of, "A lot of times you see artists on the writing credits and you don't really know how much they did, but that's not the case with Kelly. Impossible was 100% her." Not a direct quote but a paraphrase.

^Thanks guys. I've always wondered how much REAL credit she's got for all of her songs on all her albums.

She wrote all the lyrics to Cry, Irvine ( and everything else on My December), Already Gone, Addicted, Because of You, Thankful, If I Can't Have You, Impossible, Ready, I Want You. She hasn't specified which ones that she wrote the melody for, but she has said that songwriters send her tracks and she writes the lyrics and often the melody to the tracks.

I had no idea that she wrote all of the lyrics herself to all of those songs, that's awesome. I'm assuming on the other songs she co-wrote, she had help with the lyrics like Hazel Eyes, Tip of My Tongue, & etc.

Yeah, IIRC the only songs where she has a writing credit where she didn't write most/all of the words & melodies are Behind These Hazel Eyes, Walk Away and Miss Independent. Whereas she had significant input/influence on Since U Been Gone and My Life Would Suck Without You without getting a writing credit.
Kelly's more comfortable writing to a track rather than writing her own music. A lot of songwriting teams are like that, one does the music, one does the words & melodies.

^That's awesome. Her best songs are the ones shes had a writing in because you can just feel the honestly in her voice when she sings them.

The guy who worked with Kelly on Because of You said that the song he got from Kelly was basically the song that ended up on the CD. He just worked on a few things with her. So from the sounds of it she did that song completely herself and I think she wrote that when she was 16.

New album in Fall 2010? A summer tour after the AIEW tour? She's going to tour AGAIN? They're either really desperate for sales or that's dedication!
I think they should move the new album to Winter 2011. They should release two more singles off of AIEW and get the max. amount of sales they can get out of it

Kelly doesn't tour because she has to, she tours because she can. She loves touring. And hopefully if (as she suggested) she has a touring partner, she'll be able to sell out more of her shows. While I still think it would be nice if she could sell out slightly larger venues, it's enough if she's able to sell most of the tickets for wherever she plays. While a number of her shows seem to have sold well, a few of the dates on this year's tours have apparently been half-empty, and that's just wrong.
More singles can sell more copies of this album, but it's never gonna explode in sales at this point. I do think you could have time for two more singles from this era - releases in January and maybe April - and then release a lead single in September for a November-released album. That would keep Kelly seamlessly on the air through 2010. A steady stream of new radio releases doesn't seem to hurt Beyonce or Lady Gaga.

Seven Nation Army and Lies from last night's show in Nebraska:
Not the best audio in spots on the second one, but sounds like she got through the 5-shows-5-days marathon in pretty good vocal shape. You'd never know from either clip that her voice was tired at all.
On the 7NA video, I didn't know they made Blondie T-shirts in what looks like camoflauge.

Letting you know... 1. 'Cry' is the 4th single (January 2010) 2. Kelly's 5th studio album won't be out until 2011.

We'll see how Cry does, if it is official. I, for one, fully support it as a single.
