I don't think it's funny at all; I think it's hilarious if applied appropriately.  BTW I love how the Mariah freakin Carey thread on Pulse has turned into a Sunday morning sermon, only here. |

(I know that I'm posting a lot, but now that Dexter is over for the evening I have nothing to do.)
I hope they mix it up a bit for the second single. With Mariah's past few albums, people have come to anticipate a ballad as the second single. She should surprise everyone with an uptempo. "Obsessed" is more midtempo, so she wouldn't be releasing two homogeneous songs in a row. I actually hope this album has uptempos. It's been described as being like Butterfly, and that album had no real uptempos; "Honey" was more of a midtempo R&B number, while "Fly Away" was a dance-ish song. The rest were midtempos and ballads. While she was recording, she only Tweeted about midtempos and ballads, so we'll see, I guess.

So yes, it is really off-topic and inapprociate, imo. A photo is photo, no difference if its not defensive but sprouting out verses from the Bible is bit too much, imo. |

All I did was come back from church rejoicing, I saw that Obsessed's airplay had went up and I thanked God. Which set people off in a frenzy.

That was recently stated by someone else. All I did was thank Jesus and it started up. The verses wasn't for any purpose but to show Martss. Alright, serious question: Would people prefer Mariah not have gospel type (Fly Like A Bird, I Wish You Well, My Saving Grace) songs on her album? Just curious, aside from all the other talk. |
