One of them will likely fall to #11 this week and finally go recurrent. However, whichever song doesn't end up at #11 is pretty much guaranteed at least another several weeks on the chart as the next closest competitors (Lionel Richie, Wynonna and Luther Vandross) are over 300 spins away and haven't exactly been seeing enormous gains lately.
So, which song do you think will be gone first? Right now it looks like Matchbox Twenty, but stranger things have happened.

I saw Matchbox Twenty at #11 on a recent update. I thought they had already gone recurrent. I'd rather have Uncle Kracker fall off the chart, since it's been on longer than MB20.

With less than a day left to go, I hope matchbox 20 can close the gap of 100 spins and boot Uncle Kracker off.

What is the recurrent rule for the AC chart? Thanks.

I'll take "Unwell" any day over any Uncle Kracker song.

Unwell was #11 on last week's chart, so I am guessing that last week was its 50th week on the chart and that is why we are seeing if it will can make it back to #10 or not? So, really the question is whether or not MB20 will stay below #10.
And has it been 50 weeks for that song already? Wow, it doesn't seem like it has been on the AC chart for a year, especially since it was just starting to climb the pop chart around this time last year, but whatever.

Yes, last week was its 50th week. It actually debuted on the pop chart in February 2003, so it was on the pop chart for a few months before debuting on AC.

Farewell, "Unwell," we'll miss you.
This is a tragedy. Lower the flags to half-mast.

Farewell, "Unwell," we'll miss you. Though off the R&R chart, don't be shocked to see this song on the sans recurrent rules chart for another year or two.

Stations still call it the "new" one from Matchbox Twenty, so good riddance. I couldn't get enough of "Unwell" when it was first released, but it has been more than a year.
