I really like this. Very Prince-ish!
Going for adds on February 17.

I LOVE this song! It was the standout for me when I first listened to The Love Below. Very 80's/Prince type of feel.
I thought they had selected "Prototype" as the follow-up to "Hey Ya!", what happened?
Im not complaining though, I like "Roses" 100000 better than that snoozefest "Prototype".

As much as I like "Prototype," it's a flop waiting to happen.

This goes for adds this upcoming Tuesday and it's nowhere to be found on the Urban or Rhythmic charts. That means it could have about 5 spins at the most.

I'd imagine the edited version hasn't been serviced yet, or is just now being serviced. Stations probably couldn't play the album version because he says "s**t" repeatedly.

i can't figure out the Mediabase code for this song... it won't be just an "R" because that goes to Outkast's other song, "The Rooster".

The code is OUTKR2.
It's currently #338 with 14 spins (+6). So this song is going for CHR/Rhythmic first? That's kinda weird considering "Hey Ya!" crossed over from CHR/Pop.

i've been listening to this a lot... it's addicting score isn't up to Hey Ya, but it DOES hold a match to it-- meaning.. i think this is another big hit. i love it.

I like it more than "Hey Ya" and "The Way You Move". I'm not sure if I like it more than "Ms Jackson" though. Still, this is probably one of my favorite Outkast songs.

That's because "Roses" is a lot more urban sounding. I wouldn't say that exactly. I would think it would go for Pop adds simultanously, especially after 2 #1's.
Anyway, I totally love this song, I couldn't get it out of my head. It's much more urban-friendly than "Hey Ya!", I'm surprised that "Hey Ya!" even hit Top 20 on Urban.
How are they going to edit this song down though? It's quite long.

Well they didn't edit the phone conversation out of "You Don't Know My Name." They took out some lines in the conversation though.
