This song has been sitting around the Top 10 for almost two years now. I love it. It was a #1 hit on my chart last year, but my God, it's time to let the song go. Kem has a new song coming out in a couple of months, and I'm afraid radio is going to totally overlook his new single in favor of still playing his two year old single. I don't even think Kem himself wants to let the song go. Once this song hit about a year on, he did a remix with Floetry and released it.

This week the song ties the all time WOC record for any R&R chart, with 87 weeks (held by "You'll Be In My Heart" on the AC chart). Unless they suddenly add a new Urban AC recurrent rule, this will easily break the record.

I notice on many playlists it is still on thier top 10 if not definately top 20. Love the song, still not tired of it. But i do agree i would love to hear a differernt song from Kem, he has a great voice.

I wonder how all of the radio stations that are programming UAC stay stuck with Kem's first hit. Either Motown/Universal put the song on hold for a long time never to be heard or radio had the single all along and was afraid to play it. Remember how long Luther Vandross' Take You Out lasted? Damn near the end of 2002. I love the song and all, but isn't it about time they give Matter Of Time a dent on the chart for a change? Now that is one song worth playing. I think we've all had enough of Love Calls during this two year course.

The problem Urban AC most likely had with "Matter Of Time" is that it sounded just like "Love Calls" but wasn't about love, therefore an unnecessary add for most Urban AC stations.

So that explains the reason why it was put on the back burner for so long. What a way to go!

I meant to always start a topic on "Love Calls'" Urban AC performance. It is amazing how this song has sustained longevity on the Urban AC Chart. I would have not believed that this song would have managed to stick around this long.
I still enjoy "Love Calls" it is my favorite off the "Kemistry" album, which I'm a proud owner of. In fact, I purchased that album last fall. Can't believe how much time flies.

This is back in the top 10 as of today, 94 weeks after it first debuted. It's been sitting between 550 and 650 spins for at least six months now.

Still love it today! I hear it via online radio and airchecks. It gets NO airplay in Hawaii.

It's #15 right now. Unless it gains it's bullet back soon, it's gone.

Well San Diego doesn't have an Urban AC station. Neither does Honolulu, the only radio market in Hawaii, where reception said it doesn't get played.

I wonder if the airplay for this will finally start to drop a little once it goes recurrent.
