Having listened to this more. This is probably one of the best songs to hit radio that i've heard in awhile. It blows "Seasons" out the water. "Over Me" still edges it though. Both tracks are excellent.

This really needs to explode now. Before It's too late. An epic track.

i think we should begin talks of a 3rd Veer Union single. If they bother to release another one. If "Youth of Yesterday" can't hit the top 20 as a second single, then there's no point in releasing a third really.

think about it. it appears u want "Over Me" as a single. Why not release it as single #3?

Because it costs money to release a single and their label might not want to take that risk.

If I had to guess, I think we'll see a third single from them. Their chart performance is somewhat parallel to Rev (no elation) Theory. Debut top 20 single ("Hell Yeah" didn't peak as high as "Seasons" but I think it lasted a bit longer). Follow-up single that peaks in the mid 20s, again Veer Union peaks a bit higher and Rev Theory lasts a bit longer. "Far From Over" did very well for Rev Theory, and I think The Veer Union has a chance to go somewhat deep on this album in the vein of Rev Theory.

^Indeed. That's a very good comparison actually. I think The Veer Union is also right between Red and Rev Theory in their sound.
The only big difference between Red and Rev Theory/Veer Union is that Red has their Christian base, which means they sell WAY more records than the other two bands and don't have too worry as much about their active rock success for promotion. Also it can be said that Rev Theory's case is different because it's not their debut album if you think of Revelation Theory as the same band.

Rev has scanned 120k records so far Not bad at all. I also think Youth Of Yesterday is the best song on the TVU album, unfortunately outside of a handful of tracks I don't think the album is all that great..
