From MSN. Austrailans are fools if they expected a "live" Britney show. I don't think Britney has sang live since her Mickey Mouse days..
Aussies outraged over miming Britney Spears Nov. 6, 2009, 11:44 AM EST WENN
Britney Spears' lip-synced shows are causing controversy in Australia -- one of the country's leading politicians is urging ticket agencies to warn fans when artists plan to mime.
Spears is currently performing Down Under as part of her Circus world tour, but critics have slammed the star for failing to sing live during the shows.
Now the New South Wales Minister for Fair Trading, Virginia Judge, has waded into the debate - insisting ticket agencies should publish a disclaimer to stop gig-goers feeling cheated when an artist fails to provide any live vocals.
Judge has branded Spears' shows a "Mickey Mouse performance," adding: "Let's be clear -- live means live. If you are spending up to $200, I think you deserve better than a film clip. The NSW Government would be happy to look at options, such as a disclaimer on a ticket which would warn consumers a performance is pre-recorded

LOL, Britney didn't start lipping on a regular basis until the Britney era. During the ...BOMT and Oops! eras, she sang live more often than not.

She did? Dam shame she stopped. Her dancing wasn't any tpugher was it? If not it's just lazy.
Some Austraklian fans walked out of the show because of the lipping. LOL! We have been very spoilt in the past...

DWAD and OHT had some of her most exhausting and athletic dancing of her entire career so yeah her dancing was much tougher in 01-04. Her first tours weren't all that exhaustive which was why she was able to sing and do a move here and there every once in a while. But yeah the DWAD and OHT were completely different shows compared to her earlier outings. I read an article by the Sunday Telegraph and they said she sang two songs live, that's pretty rare in itself, there are very few dates that she sang live at all, so only did You Ought To Know and a few renditions of Everytime live with very few ad-libs during certain songs, so they should be glad they got that.

She did? Dam shame she stopped. Yep. And when she did "lip," you could almost always hear her singing under the backing track.

NO one could accuse Britney Spears' tour promoter Paul Dainty of lip-synching. Yesterday, words such as beat, up, embarrassed and fabrication were in the veteran tour promoter's vocabulary -- and none of them was pre-recorded. Dainty was reacting angrily to reports of Spears fans storming out of her Circus tour performances at Perth's Burswood Dome on Friday, due mainly to the fact that she was miming during segments of the two-hour show.
"It's the biggest lie I've ever heard," Dainty told The Australian. "I'm so angry. We can take heat if there's something wrong and people can review shows badly -- that's something you have to live with -- but to say people stormed out of the show was an absolute fabrication."
Dainty was responding to reports in Sunday tabloids and on websites that suggested fans, some of whom had paid $200 for tickets, left as early as the third song due to Spears' "lacklustre" performance. Yet the venue's management issued a statement saying they had received no complaints from the 17,000 who were at the show. A similar number attended Spears' show at the same venue on Saturday."Britney is aware of all this and she's extremely upset by it," Dainty said. "She's a human being. I'm embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting."Spears has been at the centre of debate over lip-synching since she arrived in Australia last week, even though it's no secret she has been miming on her world tour for most of this year. "It's been all over the internet for nine months," Dainty said. 'The inference is that we tried to hide this. It's been the opposite. "This show is about an incredible spectacle, which it is," he said. The Circus tour continues in Melbourne on Wednesday. www.theaustralian.com.au/news/nation/britney-spears-mouthpiece-paul-dainty-gives-lip/story-e6frg6nf-1225795567353

There's a lot of music files to download from the Deluxe Edition. 58 tracks to be exact. Damn!
If we were to download every track for the $1.29 it lists. It would come out to $74.82.
$29.99 is a pretty good price for the Deluxe Version.

It will be interesting to see if any of Britney's older songs show up in the top 100 of the iTunes chart.

Amazon lowered the price of the box set to $67.99. Don't you get the reduced price if it was reduced on Amazon? yes
