I love Trina... but what a crap song! Pointless. She's just name checking all the male rappers in the industry - it's not clever, it's not funny... it's just repetitive and pointless.

I only heard it once...it's not totally horrible (yea it's raunchy and juvenile, but it kinda works)
I hope it's not the first single off her upcoming album.

I'm sirprised Trina still has a record deal... has she ever really been that succesful? Not really. Since she released her first single in 1999, she's only made the Hot 100 three times. What'd You Come Here For [#56] Pull Over [#93] B R Right [#83] Though I don't think any of these are the songs she's known for. She's probably most known for "Da Baddest B***h" which came out in 2000 and only peaked at #64 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. Her highest peaking album is her second one which made #13.

What is that track that peaked at #56 on the Hot 100?
That's not too bad, and high, for a song I've never even heard of.
I'd say Trina is best known for "Pull Over". "WHOOP WHOOP! Pull over that ass too fat!"
Either that, or in Urban circles, "Na'an" with Trick Daddy.

What is that track that peaked at #56 on the Hot 100? Well that was before I followed music. I know she worked with Trick Daddy in 1999 but I always assumed "Da Baddest B****" was her first single. "What'd You Come Here For" isn't on the "Da Baddest B****" album so what album is it from? So with both of her albums her first single didn't make the Billboard Hot 100 and her second did. MandyfanUK, you can't just use the Billboard Hot 100. Norah Jones has the Number 1 and 26 albums (1 and 18 the week "Feels Like Home" debuted) without being on the Billboard Hot 100. Michael McDonald (platinum), Rod Stewart (platinum), Switchfoot (gold and with 49 weeks on chart), and Kid Rock (platinum) have album in the Top 100 that had singles released to radio none of which made the Billboard Hot 100. MercyMe recently went Pop Catalog for being out for two years with most of that time before the album had any singles on the Billboard Hot 100.

Maybe I misunderstood the reference, but Norah Jones has made the Hot 100, 'Don't Know Why" peaked right around #40 last Spring. That's true, I didn't know of Trina before 'Da Baddest" either. Trina co-hosted 106 & Park Prime tonight on BET with Snoop Dogg. I was watching The Apprentice and forgot she was on, but I caught a few pieces of it during commercials. She looked good, but I didn't hear anything about her new album, I'm sure she talked about it though. Darn, I will have to try to catch the repeat, I know it comes on at like 2 AM one of these nights. Also, Trina will be the guest tomorrow on RapCity with Big Tigger on BET, at 4 PM. I hope this isn't the actual first single off her new album...I guess it could grow on me, but I'm hoping for a bigger collabo or something.

Maybe I misunderstood the reference, but Norah Jones has made the Hot 100, 'Don't Know Why" peaked right around #40 last Spring. I mean that her new album doesn't have a song on the Billboard Hot 100, and "Come Away With Me" sold millions of copies in weeks when "Don't Know Why" wasn't on the Billboard Hot 100. Even with a Number 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, she's done a million times better on the Billboard 200 than the Billboard Hot 100.
