Now she's loseing 150 plays :o She'll never make it. She's at number 14 now behing Drift Away by over 300 spins. I was hopeing she would knock him out. If she gains 100 spins this week she could hit number 11, and You Rasie Me Up is soon to be leaving. If she could get to number 10 she would take off thanks to AT10.

Now she's loseing 150 plays :o I'm not surprised by this at all. After all, it is the AC chart. Do you mean leaving the top 10 or leaving the chart? Because the former may be correct, but the latter certainly is not anytime soon as Josh has another 10-11 weeks before he goes recurrent via the 50/10 rule. Of course, if he happens to fall below #15, then he'll be gone no matter what. Umm, just because she will be #10 on the R&R AC chart does not mean that she will debut on AT10. AT10 does not follow the AC chart at all. In fact, it is sort of a mystery as to what chart it follows, but we believe that somehow audience impressions are included in the formula to compute that chart.

Even for the AC charts Celion Dion does not just lose 150 plays, not until she gets into the top 10 at least.
Even though getting at #10 doesn't put into AT10, her chances increase, I'm sure there are stations that only play songs that are in the top 10 out there. (I once had a HOT AC station that wouldn't play a song until it got into the top 20)
You are right YRMU doesn't go recurrent yet.

I'm really not surprised that this flopped. Besides not even being from a studio album, the song just was not the best fit for Adult Contemporary. I have no idea why Sony didn't just release "Ain't Gonna Look The Other Way" which is a far superior song. Ballad Celine is always a safer bet anyway.
