Re that cover. Apparently Adam must have read and/or heard all the negative comments about the cover and said this in his twitter: ...." Thank you to those who appreciate and understand that the album cover is deliberately campy. It's an omage to the past. It IS ridiculous. 42 minutes ago from Echofon "..... So, there ya have it, it isn't supposed to be a serious cover. Too bad that isn't more obvious. what a lame excuse to cover for the hot mess the album cover did. so if other artist name their album "for your entertainment" and have a album cover like his,will they be forgiven by saying this cover are campy and it is deliberately? my point is that u can entertain us with something great and not something so bad that just happen to entertain us. enough said,i want to hear his single.if the single is nice,i forgive all this hot mess he had. |

I do think he'll have a huge first single but will struggle with the others. Still, I believe he will sell decently, but not amazingly. I could see him pulling Jordin Sparks sales.

I think it's best if we actually hear the single before making an assumption like that. We don't even know what Adam is going to sound like over a Dr. Luke beat. That will be interesting, no doubt. I just can't get my mind around Adam singing a SUBG type of song.  |

Well, the only person on earth that's heard the song and written about it said this (please note, this was when the song was called "Entertainment." The title has been changed to match the album title)

That sounds awesome, IMO. I'm not getting "flop" vibes from that description.

Well, we'll see tomorrow :) Lyndsey had some very nice things to say about Kris' songs that she previewed, and I know that the full versions of them went over well, so I'd say her opinion is relatively valid.

I dunno, but it's better than a cheesy ass typical Idol cover where they're smiling sappily at the photographer or trying super hard to look downtrodden and pensive.
*sigh*
Adam could rescue a puppy and people would find fault with it.
I think it's beautiful. Lady Gaga and Rihanna do crazy shit on their single covers, and people just accept it. I don't know why Adam has to be held to a different standard.

It's miles better than this:   How can you look at these two side by side and not say the album cover is the biggest failure of the year is beyond me. Now, the single cover reminds a bit of the look Rihanna is aiming for with this era. |
