It's not really a "gay" cover- most gay men do not wear make-up or dress like that. It seems more "transvestite" than "gay though some won't know the difference- I do believe it will hurt sales- what in the hell was he thinking

I thought the single was just titled "Entertainment" but the thread title is the album title, which is not the same, no?

bigbo882-I absolutely love that song. Adam's voice will sound amazing on it.
I wish some people would go and listen to it. It's brilliant.
I think they changed the title to match the album name.
In other news, Adam is on Oprah today.
He apparently has that in spades.

There's a difference between having hit single material and actual hit singles. I just can't see American radio playing his material, but I'm gladly proven wrong.

So, in terms of album covers round one goes to... Allison :O The more time that passes, it feels like she's the one with potential from this season. I may be a huge Adam-fan, but I'm honestly scared about not liking his album. There's still Danny Gokey next year, but he's on RCA's Nashville label and all their covers suck so, I guess Allison wins. |

And the fact that he looks like a tranny doesn't help anything. Who does he think that cover is appealing to? I think both Adam and his fans tend to forget that he is new in this industry and the fact that he was a popular American Idol contestant doesn't mean anything. He tends to act like he owns this business already, releasing a risky cover like that...he's a new artist just like everyone else, and he can't expect everyone to just jump all over everything he does. |

I just hope he doesn't sound too shrieky. I think he's great, but from all the recorded material I've heard from him, his voice is slightly annoying to me. Not the greatest studio voice, I think based on that Kris definitely deserved the title. We'll see how he sounds with the production from the guys he's worked with.

according to your post it was an honest, heart-warming and touching encounter but in fact it's more likely that it was the opposite. so when you say it's not that deep - it's definitely not as shallow as you've made it out to be either.

Shouldn't we actually talk about Adam, not how much one another reads into a freakin' Oprah interview? God, it's like people come on pulse now purposefully to pick a fight. Is life that boring people?
In other news, I hear there are some big remixers on board for the "entertainment" single. Even if Adam doesn't take off at pop he'll obviously be huge in the clubs. A male voice like his is desperately needed in the diva led crowd.

I think it's best if we actually hear the single before making an assumption like that. We don't even know what Adam is going to sound like over a Dr. Luke beat.
