It's not an immediate track for me but I like it primarily because of the production. I don't love it and I'm not sure if I will. The main problem I have with it is that it seems like the production is more interesting than Adam's vocal which should never happen for him. It still sounds similar to Sam Sparro's "Black & Gold" to me after listening to it a few times but Sparro's vocal is much more effective on his track.

Not as catchy and dancy as they made it out to be. It's good though. I'd say Kris' single is catchier but since Dr. Lukes name isn't attached to it it won't do as well as this..

It's generally saved for those with lesser voices, which is probably why a lot of Idol stuff initially is quite stripped back, to focus on the voice. A song like this is never going to show that off. |

I'm sure he will be and last season, they let Flo Rida sing "Right Round" when before they made P!nk sing something besides "U + Ur Hand" so it's not like they care anymore. It's just funny to think of how buttoned down Idol used to be early on but now, not so much. |

His beautiful voice is rarely displayed on this, but I guess he had to conform to get airplay, but even so, I'm not really into the song. It's not terrible though. It reminds me of 'Keeps Getting Better', but maybe that's just because that song downed Christina's monster voice. Wow, the song is dirty! Didn't notice it until the second listen. :o Oh, and this would have been a lot better a cover for those who don't know what cover is being discussed.  |
