Do I need to go and quote everyone who commented on the performance and separate the good vs the bad? Cause I will. No you don't. But the Gaga fans ALWAYS do this. Whenever anyone doesn't love every single flaming thing Gaga does the response by her fanbase is to belittle the poster and act as if every. single. person. must love her or act as if she was the best thing since sliced bread. It's so far beyond tiring to have to read those responses. A poster said that they didn't like the performance and the Gagatrons HAD to say that their post meant nothing. News flash he wasn't the only one who didn't think the performance amazing. Not every post has to be some variation of this: 'was OMG amazizzzzzzing1!!!!!!!1111Ga-ga for LYFE!!!!' 'omg Gaga is ssooooo hyyhhhee fashionnnuh', 'did you see the twenty seven different versions of symbolism in her performance!!!! ' 'OMG Bish is blowing my facebook up she's the biggest thing since Ma-du-naa' Obviously the poster wasn't the only one who didn't love it. In this thread, on this board and within the musical community. Live with it.

^ ...as IF the Britney fans haven't done exactly the same thing. You love to call the kettle black, Little Miss Pot. No where near to this degree, at least from what I have seen. And that's fact right there. It's up to the Beyonce levels right now. I can understand why the get along so well here. They're a similar animal. A poster posted a video that wasn't flattering in the Britney thread and most of them just ignored it. A person stated here that he didn't like her performance and they brought out the claws here. It's ridiculous.

LOL as usual. "They ALWAYS do this!!!1!1!11" And you ALWAYS complain about it. And basically ALL the major stan groups are ALWAYS complaining about it so it's annoying to see a constantly beaten-to-death horse.

Wow pretty much every page of this thread is exactly the same as the previous one-everyone is going in circles saying the same thing over and over and over again. If I am going to be a broken record I will choose to be a positive one I loved her Leno performance! Should make people happy who say she relies on "gimmicks" since it was her looking fairly normal and doing a straightforward performance piece.

And just LMAO that there was a comment made as if he was the only one who didn't think it was the break out of the night.

Sorry LPL. :( I will say this though; what's gone on in this thread/Britney's thread/Beyonce's thread, etc. is why I'm so firmly anti-st@ndom - no matter whether you are or you aren't it only brings out the worst in people - even I'm guilty of that (PMB countdown being a prime example of this)

No need to apologize-as you said, it is pretty much the nature of the beast in that a bunch of pop female fans together always leads to tension. It is just sad that it is so non-stop on here that I don't even feel like posting nearly as much as I used to-like, I am not interested in 100 pages of back and forth between who hates GAga and who loves Gaga so I discuss music elsewhere.
Of course, it has been such an amazing era/past month or two for Gaga that I cannot help posting though. I cannot believe how well her career is going! I remember when she was some unknown playing in gritty little clubs.

What is even MORE funny is that over a year ago when she was playing little clubs and breaking alcohol bottles onstage and semi-stripping I was like there is no way in HELL this chick is ever going to break out. Possibly the most incorrect prediction ever? Ok I am done reminiscing carry on guys

Kudos on having the dead opposite reaction to the performance than almost everyone else that watched it Would you say that if it was another artist? Yes I would. I haven't heard anyone else state that Gaga should focus less on vocals and just do all-out choreography. Nearly everyone has reacted positively to her tuning down the outlandish spectacle aspect of her performance and enhancing vocals.

You are not some brave flag-bearer for anti-st@n movement, considering you are the biggest one of them all. My response wasn't to his comment of not liking the performance -- I understand that many people don't connect with Gaga's performances; I sometimes dislike them myself. My response was to when he said "She needs to just do full-out dance choreography and focus less on vocals."

I'd rather hear her vocals actually. I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of her live singing voice. It sounds pretty different to her recorded voice which is good in its own right but hearing her without all the auto-tune/vocoder/compression/whatever combination of processing they use to achieve the studio version's sound - she sounds even better live than on record.

She does use auto-tune live, though. Not in every performance, but like at the VMAs and the AMAs -- it was definitely on her mic.

That could be just for effect though. IMO, tastefully done auto-tune/processing is when the raw vocal is already 'up to scratch' and the auto-tune is being used to improve upon the original sound rather than trying to bring something sub-par up to some passable standard.

I never said the poster was the only one who didn't like it, and neither did GAGA'S DISCIPLE, he just said he was one of the few. Which is true. I am living with it, but unfortunately, you can't seem to accept that a lot of people love GaGa and think she's amazing without blowing a head gasket.

It's not like she's on T-Pain's level or anything, but it's definitely there. It just smooths out the vocal line a little more. It's obvious in the "Pap" performance, right after she finishes on the piano and runs out with the blood on her stomach.

For me- and this is just my opinion- I am a HUGE Lady Gaga fan...these first 2 performances of Bad Romance have been underwhelming for me. Maybe I am just so used to hearing the album/studio version 1000 times - but I just can't get into the live version of it. Something just seems off- maybe it's me. I am really excited to see her Monster Ball on Dec 2 though and in time she will continue to improve on Bad Romance live. I think she is doing Ellen this week too. Talk about promo! At least her ass is out there performing and promoting!
Bad Romance #1 on iTunes Bad Romance Music Video #1 on iTunes The Fame Monster #1 AND #3 on iTunes and hopefully soon....BAD ROMANCE #1 on the Hot 100 and Pop 100!
Where will this be this week on the Hot 100? I know it was at #11 last week...anyone know?

Ya, BR seems like a harder song to sing for her range. It didn't sound all that great on Leno, tho I liked her performance. The speechless section from AMA's was outstanding.

You're acting like this is purely a GaGa st.an phenomenon. Please don't belittle us like we're the only fans who do this.

It's pretty obvious, to me at least, that there is pitch correction or auto-tune. I noticed it mostly during the Paparazzi performance at the VMA's. Her voice sounded a bit too mechanical during the chorus and her vibrato sounded a bit strange.

Yes let's leave Britney in her own thread.
That being said my first thought of Gaga's AMA performance was "that's gotta be autotuned." I'm glad I'm not the only one that got that impression although I know some people referred to other performances. Gaga has already proven her voice so it really would serve no point to criticize her for using autotune; it's a tool at her disposal and she took advantage of it in this case.

They are slow with some songs. Yet they jumped right on I Want To Know What Love Is.
