"Girlfight" www2.allaccess.com/sounds/broogirl.ramThis is kind of like another Ciara Crunk'N'B song. It's got a very repetitive and catchy hook. It almost sounds like R.Kelly on the hook but it's not. It's pretty hot actually, I like it. With big names like Lil' Jon and Big Boi of OutKast on this one, I definitely think it will do some damage on the Rhy and Urban charts. This has the potential to be big.

I heard this on allaccess earlier. I'm not sure if I'm feelin' it yet, but it could definitely be a grower.

Not only does Big Boi and Lil' Jon help the 19-year native of Houston on her debut album, Chain Letter. Industry talents such as Souldiggaz, Heatmakers, Deja The Great, Bink, Bloodshy and others all contributed their effort to the album, which is slated for release in March.

Decent. I downloaded it on iTunes for free because it's Carson Daly's "Catch of the Week."

There's something about the song, I can't fully get into it, but I do like it. It was in my head yesterday. I like it, for the most part, but something is preventing me from full on loving it. I'm sure it will end up growing on me though.

It's an okay song, but I don't expect big things for this artist.

Same load of crap! Why does R&B have to be this way? Why can't it be like it was back in the day? This is horrible, the song may grow on me, but then again Ciara did not, with two songs!

Even though this sounds like another Crunk N B song it's something different. How many females you know makin songs about throwin bows ?? I think Brooke is sexy as hell and her body is bangin. You can tell she works out and her vocals sound Good & sexy on the track. This is more crunk then Goodies & it's better imo.

She's SEXY! :o
I think this is more "Crunk" than "Crunk 'N B".

This song is wack. But hot verse from Big Boi!
The video just premiered on Direct Effect. She looks like a cheaper version of Mya--but pretty.

BROOKE VALENTINE FEATURING BIG BOI AND LIL JON Girlfight Producer(s): Lil Jon Writer(s): various Publisher(s): various Genre: R & B Label/Catalog Number: Virgin 19024 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: February 26, 2005
There's no denying this track's incessant, booty-bumpin' beats. There's also no way of ignoring its in-your-face, Chris Robinson-lensed video, which is all over MTV—and which introduces the ultra-photogenic, 19-year-old Brooke Valentine to the masses. The song is hypnotizing, one of those jams that immediately embeds itself in your brain. And Valentine, who comes across like a one-woman Destiny's Child, asserts herself with tough-talking sass. "There she goes talkin' her mess/All around town/Making me stress/I need to get this off my chest/And if her friend want some then she'll be next/It really ain't that complicated," she sings in the first verse. Don't be surprised if, by the end of the second verse, you find yourself stopped dead in your tracks. Yes, Valentine means business. Trust. Her debut album, "Chain Letter," is due March 15.—MP
