Ew, this is a mess. 'She Wolf' was a million times better than this. This may be her worst offering to date, actually.

Hot song. Am I the only one who thinks this was originally for Shock Value 2 then got switched to Shakira's American release of She Wolf?

I'm confused, is this featuring Timbaland, Lil' Wayne, or T-Pain, or some combination?

It's not bad... I like it better than hips don't lie... It does have some Shakira lyrics, like:
Got this she wolf appetite that keeps me up all night Aim high when the target is low FYI I am ready to go People say men are just like kids Never saw a kid behave like this
I agree it's a little bit trashy, but was She-Wolf not trashy? Her entire album has a theme of female sexuality, including sexual needs...
While I agree this is safe, I think it's very smart. She took a big risk with She-Wolf. She's managing the risk for this project. Two risky singles back to back, especially after the first one did not meet expectations, is not going to happen with Shakira.

Its a hot song, the only reason I'm not that into the song is because its going to take the spotlight off the amazing SW tracks. But, if this is a hit, it will set up the 3rd & 4th singles well. So, in the longrun it will help the future SW singles.

I'm not comparing it to the Border. All I'm saying is that it has nothing to distinguish this as a Shakira track. Shakira fans always complain when she works with anyone that makes commercial hits but I never have because for me, she's always made something that could only be Shakira. Even when everyone was screaming "sell out" at Hips Don't Lie, it didn't really bother me because, at the end of the day, only Shakira could've got away with that song and she made it hers. So the reason I keep mentioning the Border is because even though it's produced by Timbaland, it's still completely a Shakira song because no one else would dare to mix synths, trumpets and electric guitars. This, however, could be sung by anyone and is so unbelievably SAFE it's unreal. This probably will be a hit but it will never have the same impact as Whenever Wherever and Hips Don't Lie or even She Wolf for that matter, because in 3 months everyone will have forgotten about it. I agree that this song will not be iconic like HDL & WW, but if its a hit it will put a bigger spotlight on the amazing SW tracks. If this song is a hit, the future singles from SW will have a better chance of becoming hits.

Pretty sure that this was meant for Shock Value 2. Shakira did not need this song. I don't think its very good at all. Not even catchy. Did It Again would have smashed.

I'm not feeling this. I know it would sound good in a club and stuff. It just feels really blah and desperate. It feels like a knock-off of "4 Minutes."
Shakira can do sooooo much better than this. I would rather her come up with good music that may not translate into major chart success than to have to turn to Lil' Wayne for a hit.
I did like "Hips Don't Lie", but not as much as her other material.

This is hot as fuck, SO much better than that p.o.s. "Did It Again". Thankfully, she won't flop now.

Love this! So hot.
I'm actually relieved this is her next single. I initially thought that 'DIA' was good, but now I don't know. I've ended up being kinda underwhelmed by the album.
