Check out The Junction on Goom Radio! www.goomradio.us/radio/the-junctionI'm open to any thoughts or suggestions you all my have. If you like what you hear, I'd love it if you registered for an account at Goom and clicked on "Follow this radio" to show your support! Oh, and you can all go create your own stations as well!

That's cool! Can you control the songs in your playlist? I made one with play.it, but it plays so many album tracks I don't know what song is on, which defeats the point.

Yes, you can completely control your playlist. When you start your station, it gives you 200 songs automatically based on which genre you choose. You can then add and delete songs as you desire. If you choose 200 songs of your own, that will be your complete playlist; otherwise Goom will add songs for you. And you can control how often each song comes up too; the songs in the top (red) range will be the ones in "power rotation", for example.
Of course I'm a bit biased since I intern at Goom, but I honestly think this is the closest that any service has come to allowing you to program a legit radio station. And it'll only get better when you'll be able to add your own production and create shows.

I'm playing around with it right now... it is pretty fun.
A couple of negatives: The library for custom radios is a bit thin, missing some currently charting singles. I'm also not sure why they picked a 200 song limit. That's about right for a CHR, but any other radio station should allow for a bit more variety.
I could see myself getting addicted to this, though. It would be even cooler if you could upload a playlist from your own library rather than adding each song manually.

I signed up and absolutely could not get it to e-mail to my AOL account, but as soon as I changed it to a hotmail address, it went through right away. Might want to try out a different e-mail if you're having trouble.

Our main duty as interns is to expand and consolidate the library, so it definitely should get better. Something definitely needs to be done about the lack of current singles though - I know someone "tagged" the new 30STM single, so I don't know why it doesn't appear. I do feel you should be allowed to have a larger playlist as well, but hey, you can rotate songs in and out as often as you want. I think you may also be able to upload your own stuff in the future.
Stay tuned...
