The song is so low on the Urban charts, the question is why? I realize Rhythmic and Urban can be quite different but doesn't Nelly do well on Urban too? Or is it because they don't want to play Tim McGraw?
I'm just a tad ignorant when it comes to the Urban charts since I don't check them out too often.

I think Nelly realized it wasn't an urban single so that's why he released a dual single to appeal to the urban market. He's trying to appeal to a broad range of people by releasing singles from Sweat and Suit simultaneously.

Urban is still playing "My Place" and "Flap Your Wings" and "Na-nana-na" featuring Jazze Pha is the Nelly song now starting out on Urban. "Over And Over" is the fourth most played Nelly song on Urban behind those three.

Tim McGraw. Maybe there's someone who could phase out (remix) at least some of Tim McGraw's singing?

Isn't Urban always the last/slowest to pick up on Nelly's singles anyway? Throughout his career Urban has always been his "weakest" and least accepting format. So its not JUST Tim McGraw that they aren't playing it because of.

It has nothing to do with Tim McGraw. The song is not an urban song. It's a pop song by an urban artist. This isn't the first time an urban artist has made a pop song and failed to cross over.

Just out of curiousity, what are some others? We'll we've already had a topic about Urban not playing Black Eyed Peas. There's also Prince whose "Cinnamon Girl" topic was moved from this forum to the Hot AC/Triple A forum because of what formats were playing it.

Just out of curiousity, what are some others? Also Jennifer Lopez who goes from scoring Top 5 hits to missing the Top 50.
