the reason why: Use Somebody is still on the Alternative chart. They need to cut Crawl some slack, dude.

That seems to be the case with a lot of the songs on the charts now that went for adds over the past two months. They already have previous singles way up there being played to hell, so their new one can't get much airplay.

As we're currently seeing happen with "Use Somebody" & "Panic Switch" and we all know about the "Feel Good Drag" sitiuation. I can't see the recurrent rules being altered anytime soon. This song pretty much flopped. Well, aside from "Use Somebody" still getting significant airplay, which didn't effect "Notion" for the record. "Crawl" hasn't really been pushed with any real impetus or substance behind it. |

Yeah, intentionally pulling this back was their choice. I'm still waiting on a DJ or PD with guts to pair Closer / Crawl as a double single. 8 minutes of classic deep winter sound there.
