Yeah, I don't like this song for him. But it actually does remind me a little of "You" with the sample and everything.

The song was originally Dan Talevski's first single, but since he's no longer with Zone 4/Interscope, I guess it was given to Lloyd.

Yeah. I think waiting to release the album until the second single was out was a mistake. They should have released it when "Lay It Down" was a hit. "Cupid" was a reasonably sized hit too, but it didn't make the same impact as "Lay It Down". He's not really the type of artist to have big album sales, but this album should have managed at least 150k (double what it actually sold) at the end of the day.

When your artist had a streak of barely hitting Gold you need to strike while the iron is hot. Stop expecting Platinum sales. It's not gonna happen in this climate. I find pushbacks happen when you 2nd guess your product. Make it great the 1st time and release. I have yet to hear somebody who had a pushback release a great product.

It's a good thing that the "King of Hearts" album got delayed. "Dedication To My Ex (Miss That)" wasn't even recorded. And that song is making Lloyd an International star since it's his first big International hit.

That one song got Lloyd his first live tour in the UK. One of his London shows sold out and they had to add another show. Also a live tour in Australia and New Zealand. A 3x Platinum single in Australia and a Gold single in New Zealand. A performance on a popular TV show in the Netherlands.

Plus Interscope Records is releasing the physical CD in the UK with exclusive songs.

Lloyd is back and he’s getting “Tru”-thful about why he’s been away for so long on his introspective new single.

Written as an autobiographical track, Lloyd uses “Tru” to discuss his absence from the game. “I lost it all,” he says on the song’s intro. “But in life there’s always a chance to grow from the struggle, from the pain, from the realness. Here’s my story.”

From there, the R&B crooner who hasn’t released a studio album since 2011’s King of Hearts, delves into some personal matters, including lawsuits, shame, and the loss of his child.

In 2012, Lloyd also unveiled The Playboy Diaries, a project that he is reportedly working on a sequel to.

LLOYD ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM ‘OUT MY WINDOW’

Lloyd is giving fans a glimpse into his Window.

Over five years since his last project, the R&B crooner has announced his fifth album—Out My Window.

“My new album will be titled #OutMyWindow and i am almost ready to release it,” tweeted Lloyd. “Here’s a sneak listen…”

The behind-the-scenes video features concert and backstage visuals as well as some candid clips from the studio. “Come take this journey with me and you will see that this is me,” he says in the minute-long clip. “I am Lloyd and this is what I see out of my window.”

Fans have been hearing about Lloyd’s next LP for quite some time. Earlier this year, he released “Tru,” a song and video about his hiatus from the industry.

“‘TRU’ is about being a fighter. It’s about speaking truthfully and honestly on your life and not shying away from your imperfections,” he told BET. “It’s really about embracing the idea that there’s never failure. There is only lessons to be learned and character to be built. I wanted to shed light on that and I wanted to go towards that light and not run away from it.”

Out My Window, Lloyd’s first studio album since 2011’s King of Hearts, currently has no release date.
