I think Keyshia is average in every way. Her voice is average, her looks are below average, and she was just not the artist to take this song to the top.
She is nothing special, so its not shockin that while this is a good song, she is another r&b chick. How many of them have we seen come and go with decent material? It takes more than a GOOD song. U have to have the looks, the payola, the support and the launchig. you need alot to break into the business as a new artist and even workin with the hottest producer of the moment wont work unless you have the type of Mega backing.
If Monica had sang this song, it would have gone Str8 to the top probably. I can see her singing this song or Kelly Rowland. Some1 that is known and popular would have took the song far. Even Brandy could have gotten the song to perform a little better. I know alot of people who like this song, I woul dhave thought Urban would have embraced it more though. But, guess not.

it's true, her looks are only average on a national scale.. but her voice is by no means average, her voice is better than any of those Ciaras or Christinia Milians, maybe even more than a lot of established acts. i do agree that some other artists couldve taken this to #1, but its not because they sing better.

I say her voice is average because while yes she sings better than Milian or Ciara, but me and friends notice on certain parts of the song her voice sounds strange, its like she tried to have something thats really not there. Alot of it sounds really studio enahced to me, i would need to hear her live to tell if she is really a Monica or Brandy or something.

If you've heard all of Keyshia's songs, she doesn't have that great of a voice. The girl couldn't sing a ballad for her life.

"Love" is like a vocal holocaust. "Love" is a garbage song no matter how it was sung.

The song is garbage but her voice is cracking all over the place.
I'm just saying I haven't been blown away by her voice from the material of hers that is out. If she starts blowing like a diva, I'll give her credit, but she reminds me of Tamia and so far, she hasn't even proven to be able to pull off big vocals like her.

I don't think she has a diva voice anyway. It's too rough in texture. If anything she has a Mary J. voice. Her ad-libs on "You Changed" are pure soul. Not technically perfect, but good nonetheless.

her vocals on this song (i.e. ICMM) are great. i havent heard this song where her voice allegedly cracks, but you dont have to be "big diva vocals" to be a good singer... you know that, JOSH!

Supposedly the second single is between "I Should've Cheated" and "Situations". Any news Tony?

Haven't heard anything, but hopefully they'll go with "Situations". I do know that she had her press day on Tuesday to promote the album.
