Lady Gaga keeps surprising me. At first I passed her up as a novelty artist trying to make a quick buck but now I’m beginning to think that she is here to stay. I can’t believe how fan oriented she is. And IMO the quality of her music never diminishes. I’m definitely gonna have to pick up the deluxe Fame Monster pack when it hits stores on December 15. I think I just been Gagafied

We just got closer tickets to her second show in Atlanta and gifted the other tickets to my friend.

Best Buy WILL take back my censored version and exchange it. It won't even be a request but rather a demand...

Can Lady Gaga Change the Way Best New Artist Grammy Is Chosen? With only one day left before nominees are announced for the 52nd annual Grammy Awards, the industry is buzzing about who’ll make the cut – and why one of the year's biggest hitmakers is ineligible. Lady Gaga sold more than 1.5 million copies of The Fame, but the costumed diva won’t be recognized in the Best New Artist category due to her nomination in the Best Dance Recording category for "Just Dance" last year. However, we’ll most likely see her in the Album, Record or Song of the year categories. Gaga’s exclusion mirrors last year’s snub of Jennifer Hudson in the same category due to her 2007 nomination in the Outstanding Motion Picture Soundtrack Compilation category for Dreamgirls. Could it be time for the Grammys to consider changing their rules? "This particular issue in the Best New Artist category is on our radar and I would expect changes to address it in next year's voting," Grammy president Neil Portnow tells PEOPLE. Other artists to watch this year include Taylor Swift, U2, Beyoncé, Maxwell, Green Day, the Black Eyed Peas, Keri Hilson and Kings of Leon. But, don’t expect to see Michael Jackson as a major contender. Though he won big at the American Music Awards, the soundtrack for This Is It missed the Sept. 1 cutoff date. But, the release of Motown box set Hello World The Complete Motown Solo Collection could very well make the cut in historical categories. www.people.com/people/article/0,,20323511,00.html

HDD has The Fame Monster at #4 with roughly 180k sold. Shame she didn't peak higher than the original The Fame. (which itself took in about 144k this week according to HDD) Hopefully The Fame Monster has legs and manages to sneak up to a new peak.

The sales are nice actually.
We didn't even know this EP was happening a month ago it was just supposed to be a re-release. Anyway, I tidied up the first post to be more informative.

1. Bad Romance 2. Alejandro 3. Telephone 4. Dance In The Dark 5. Monster 6. Speechless 7. So Happy I Could Die 8. Teeth
are my order of favorites on The Fame Monster. So...when is the explicit version coming out?
Order of favorite to least favorite singles so far from The Fame ERA are:
1. Bad Romance 2. Paparazzi 3. Poker Face 4. Telephone (it is confirmed as the second TFM single) 5. Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) (it was a single overseas) 6. Just Dance 7. LoveGame 8. Beautiful Dirty Rich (another overseas single)

01 Bad Romance 02 Monster 03 Telephone 04 Speechless 05 Alejandro 06 So Happy I Could Die 07 Dance In the Dark 08 Teeth
I LOVE the first 5. "Teeth" is undoubtedly my least favorite.

I just got back from GaGa. I did too much single-malt scotch & vodka drinking and smonking so I missed most of Kid Cudi except for the last couple songs. He was cool but I wish he had a live band. Also, unless he did Poke Her Face during his set, he and Gaga never interacted. I read that he comes out during her acoustic Poker Face (which was BRILLIANT) but he didn't. When I got there, my coworker and her friend who is the biggest GaGa st.an EVER (even fashions herself to look like her) were in tears by the box office. Apparently, they bought fraudulent tickets! I felt so bad but I had to go in. To think, I was supposed to take one of their tix but it was 200 bucks so I passed. Eventually, they were able to go in, surprisingly, even though it was sold out. They got in because of their vaginas. I guess if it were women responsible for admission, I would have pulled my junk out and displayed it for them.
GaGa was pretty dope but it was very artsy and low energy overall. Very well done though. She wasn't wearing that much crazy stuff like she does in performances. Highlight of the show was definitely was when, after she finished a song, some kid yelled, "Yesssssssssssssss BEHHHHHHHHTCH!" I was for a few solid minutes.
Here is my ranking of TFM (after a LOT of listens): 1. Telephone 2. Monster 3. Bad Romance 4. Teeth 5. Speechless 6. So Happy I Could Die 7. Alejandro 8. Dance In The Dark

01. Monster 02. So Happy I Could Die 03. Telephone (moving up) 04. Bad Romance 05. Alejandro 06. Teeth (tis also moving up) 07. Dance In The Dark 08. Speechless

Lady Gaga graces the cover of Elle, January 2010. On bodily reactions to stress: "I get all the symptoms of a pregnant woman. I get headaches, I get tired, I get blurred vision sometimes during a really intense session with [her creative team] the Haus." On a recurring theme in her work: "I feel that if I can show my demise artistically to the public, I can somehow cure my own legend. I can show you so you're not looking for it. I'm dying for you on domestic television—here's what it looks like, so no one has to wonder." On being a former waitress: "I was really good at it. I always got big tips. I always wore heels to work! I told everybody stories, and for customers on dates, I kept it romantic. It's kind of like performing." On using her sexuality: "My album covers are not sexual at all, which was an issue at my record label. I fought for months, and I cried at meetings. They didn't think the photos were commercial enough…The last thing a young woman needs is another picture of a sexy pop star writhing in sand, covered in grease, touching herself." On her romantic future: "In eight to 10 years, I want to have babies for my Dad to hold, grandkids. And I want to have a husband who loves and supports me, just the way anyone else does. I would never leave my career for a man right now, and I would never follow a man around." Source: Elle.com/GagaDaily.com

Who knows, maybe you're right and I'm just giving in to the fad of the moment. But one thing that's for sure is that there's nothing that is going to stop me from buying the deluxe edition

Wow, she looks great in those shots - especially the second one.
My ranking of her (US) singles: Bad Romance Paparazzi Telephone Poker Face Just Dance LoveGame
All GREAT singles, though, seriously. I just recently started loving 'JD,' after I heard the live version from The Cherrytree Sessions.

I'm surprised the EP outsold the deluxe edition. I had a hard time finding the EP stocked in stores and online, while the 2CD collection was easily available.

Congrats to Gaga on her five Grammy nominations including nods in all three major categories. (SOTY, ROTY, and AOTY)

Too bad about the BNA situation, she would've had 4/4! I think she has Dance Album locked up and Dance Recording seems like a sure bet too. IMO, she deserves all 5 she's up for, based on her competition.

I think her getting the 3 General Field nominations makes up for the BNA shutout. I'm happy and proud of her. I think I want her to win AOTY.

Most likely the dance categories. I have a feeling she'll be snubbed in the major categories. (in favor of DMB, Taylor, and Beyonce)

Did GaGa recently state she was going to be in the industry for another 8-10 years before she was ready for the family thing? Anyone have a link to that?
