If she has learned anything from Madonna it is to saturate the public early. I doubt she will take more than 6 months off...if that. I see her 3rd/7th depending on how you view it in late spring/early summer for 4th/8th single late summer/early fall and then probably will have a new song/album in late 2010. She is gunning for a #1 album and much more success...it will be time to stop when she slows down on the hits.

She should relax a little bit so she doesn't get too overexposed...I've noticed artists nowadays really bomb after a few albums because of this...Timing is everything so obviously don't take too long of a break, but do it right...

Question, how come the versions of "Poker Face" and "Alejandro" are different on the retail versions of the album (I hadn't bought the original version of The Fame or the new version as the explicit one is unavailable)?

The one for "Poker Face" that I have is a little faster, and a little harder, but similar to the one on the retail version. The one I have I heard on the radio too.

I had heard a version of "Alejandro" that was reported to be the demo and then I checked on iTunes to compare recently and that was the same version so is the other one I have the real demo? Or are there multiple versions of the songs?

For both, I preferred the ones I found versus the retail ones.

^A few things:

-The album is selling 100k+ per week, meaning less and less buyers every week
-Multiple versions of the song on iTunes, seen as pop bars are tight at around 20 then I thinjk it would be if the version were combined ;)
-Bad Romance is still stealing attention away from Telephone - higher on the charts as well as having a video so more people see it.

At this point its smart to hold off releasing the video until airplay is reaching its peak, because then the digital spike it will surely get will help it get to a higher position on the Hot 100

Airplay is already quite high and still zooming, hence when the video comes out, its a sure-shot fly to the moon
