I can't believe she's not coming to Atlanta again. I wish she would have at least came to Nashville once too. When do tickets go on sale for the St. Louis show?

Producer files $30M suit against Lady Gaga in NYCBy JENNIFER PELTZ, Associated Press Writer Jennifer Peltz, Associated Press Writer 25 mins ago NEW YORK β A songwriter and music producer who claims he helped launch pop star Lady Gaga says she squeezed him out of her lucrative career after he co-wrote some of her songs, came up with her stage name and helped get her record deal. Rob Fusari filed a $30.5 million lawsuit against the Grammy Award-winning performer, saying his protege and former girlfriend ditched him as her career soared. "All business is personal," said the lawsuit, filed Wednesday in a Manhattan state court. Lady Gaga's spokesman, Dave Tomberlin, didn't immediately respond to an e-mail sent Thursday by The Associated Press. Fusari had credits on such hits as Will Smith's "Wild, Wild West" and Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious" when a friend steered the piano-playing singer β then known by her real name, Stefani Germanotta β to him in March 2006, according to his lawsuit. Though he initially dismissed her, he realized she had star potential after hearing her play in his Livingston, N.J., studio, the suit said. He spent the next several months working with her every day and "radically reshaping her approach," persuading her to drop rock riffs for dance beats, it said. As they co-wrote songs such as "Paparazzi" and "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich," which would appear on her debut album, "The Fame," he transformed Germanotta into Lady Gaga, a name adapted from Queen's "Radio Ga Ga," the lawsuit said. In a 2009 interview with the AP, Lady Gaga said her "realization of Gaga was five years ago, but Gaga's always been who I am." "I was Gaga from the time that I was 19 through my first record deal," the 23-year-old said of her over-the-top, avant-garde style, which has captured the imaginations of millions of fans. "I always dressed like that before people knew me as Lady Gaga. I was always that way ... I stuck out like a sore thumb." According to the lawsuit, Lady Gaga and Fusari's relationship turned romantic and then became a business partnership in May 2006, when they created a joint venture called Team Love Child LLC to promote her career. Fusari's share was 20 percent, it said. Fusari β whose account of his role in the multiplatinum-selling artist's early career has been told in interviews β says he introduced Lady Gaga to a record executive who ultimately shepherded her to Universal Music Group's Interscope Records, which released "The Fame" in 2008. The album has sold more than 3 million copies in the United States; Fusari has a producing credit. But the lawsuit says their personal and business relationship had soured by then and he has been denied a 20 percent share of song royalties, 15 percent of merchandising revenue and other money he's owed. He acknowledges getting checks for about $611,000 but says that isn't his full share. Lady Gaga won two Grammys in January: best dance recording, for "Poker Face," and best electronic/dance album, for "The Fame." ___ AP Music Writer Nekesa Moody and AP Writer Mesfin Fekadu in New York contributed to this report. You know....What is annoying is how he didnt want his songs used in the shows GaGa was doing and not being serious. But wasn't 'Bootylicious' more of a commical song than serious? I kinda understand what he ment but still....he's produced sillyer material/artists before.

I saw her earlier this year in Boston and it was a good show. However, I am now boycotting her. She loves her fans sooo much, right? That's why for 200 bucks, you can go see her in the Boston Garden (our biggest arena), in a seat between the balcony and the loge. Oh...for 100 dollars, you can be behind the stage. Even better, for 60 bucks, you can sit in seats so high that all you can see is a dancing speck. I am disgusted.

Her tickets are a bit overpriced this time around. We got great seats aftermarket to her ATL show last time but had to pay about $178.00 a piece for them. It looks like we may have to pay that much again for good seats.
Anyone know what's up with her St. Louis show? Why are the tickets not yet on sale?

Yes, it's unbelievable, in the 64th (!) week on the tally, Lady GaGa's million-seller 'The Fame (Monster)' reaches the top spot of the global album chart for the first time ever. The album sold 166.000 copies last week, a 2% growth compared to the previous week and a total of 8,2 million to date. mediatraffic.de/

She'll reach 9 million in the next five weeks if she can keep sales at 160K. Damn! This album is going far and above 10 million in the next few months.

Her minimum sales will probably be 10 million+ with a shipment of 12 million+. I don't think people understand how amazing that is especially in 2010.

I can honestly see it going above and beyond that. If she can milk this album by having another two hit singles and keeping the sales above 100K a week worldwide... There's nothing stopping this from reaching 12-13 million by the time the year's over. All depends on how "Alejandro" fares and if they decide to release another single afterward.

She confirmed that she's already working on her third album (at least she's already writing the material), though the late 2010 release I think it's still a rumor.

Well she said she already has "the core of the next album finished" so late 2010 seems likely.

Well she said she already has "the core of the next album finished" so late 2010 seems likely. I seriously hope that she chills and releases Alejandro for the summer and close the fall with another single and then reups in spring/summer of 2011. The oversaturation will take a toll on her eventually.

I feel bad for her if her intent was never to sing pop music. I couldn't fathom her singing rock and roll songs like Kelly Clarkson when the europop stuff is played out. What a way to sell your soul. No wonder why she is always melancholy every time I see her.

A scary thought but what if GaGa's plan is to work herself as hard as she can and work herself out and go out while on top? :/ It's a terrible thought and I hope that's not secretly her plan. I think I'd actually be crushed if anything tragic happened to her and I never feel that way about celebrities....
On a happier note, Happy Birthday GaGA!

Well, she is a performance artist and lives for the stage so that wouldn't surprise me, as terrible as it sounds.
