I sense a flop and a one hit wonder.

Finally heard it today (and surprised myself by finding out that I have Windows Media Player ). It's good, but ultimately I think Josh is right; I don't see this becoming a hit.

I like it as well. This is a smash...on CHR/Rhythmic and perhaps CHR/Pop, not as big as his one and only hit so far though. It will probably have a chart life simular to Craig David's "What's Your Flava" (getting some big adds then charting poorly w/o hitting the top 25..crash and burn!)

I sense a flop and a one hit wonder. Didn't you just say it was hot an hour earlier? What changed your mind in the timespan of an hour? I'm just curious since the timing was funny.

Why do people always question me when I say that? You can like a song and think it's not going to do well at the same time.

This is now up to #65 (248 spins), gaining 133. What's interesting to note is #66 is Lenny Kravitz f. Jay-Z, gaining 151 (and earlier this week Lenny was ahead of him), and #68 is Amanda Perez f. Layzie Bone, gaining 144.
It seems to be progressing at a decent pace - I hope it lasts.

Yea I know but your tone was so different the second time around, it's almost like "Is this the same person who was just so enthusiastic about the same song?"

Well, he's now in the Top 50. At this posting, his bullet is 174.
Since he's only on 29 stations, it would be wise to have this go for adds by now. If that happens, it can become a hit.
I'll continue to watch its progress, and I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best. :)

Is it my impression, or is he making a career out of sampling 80s hits? ??? This one samples Wham!'s "Everything She Wants", while "Don't Wanna Try" used Force MD's "Tender Love".

LOL and he didn't even give credit to Force MDs. Let's see what happens this time.

He sampled the Force M.D's? :o I can't believe that I did not notice! I myself haven't even heard of Force MDs, much less that song, so it shouldn't be a surprise. I did happen to hear "Everything She Wants" last night and I noticed the beginning is almost an identical match, while the rest is masked by the different voices and different lyrics.

Well it looks like this is the end:
46 42 FRANKIE J On The Floor (f/ Pau... 543 548 -5 2.412
He could take #41 since BEP are only 3 spins ahead and are -36, but that's it. (Unless "If I Ain't Got You" goes recurrent...does it?)

It did decently having not gone for adds. The simple fact that it didn't go for adds probably ruined his career though. I don't see him having a hit now.
