Bad choice. At least it is a great album and I really love it but if FYE does nothing (I am not predicting that but it is a very slow start thus far) and then this does nothing then the album is done. If I Had You should be next.

I think it just means promo single. It's not going to radio yet.

RCA does not take a bad 1st radio single in a good way, they will let you go in a heartbeat. I'm a little surprised, I think they thought that since Claude & Dr. Luke have had a great year that i would be a sure fire big hit and they we're wrong(although maybe there is still a slight chance of a rebound).Anyway, i love this record!

I am obsessed with his version of Fever and think that could be the big hit they're looking for. I cannot stop listening to it!
This... is just a shitty Pink reject.

Without an adds date I think I'll wait and see when this is going for radio. He's going to perform FYE at the AMAs and he also has the video, which wasn't really cheap.

Wow... Has RCA done this before? I'm not surprised they'd work another single as a lot of money has already been put into him. Just surprised they are going there so soon after an expensive video was just filmed for the first one with a performance scheduled at the AMA's for that prior single.

Well then.
Um... "For Your Entertainment" at the AMA's, and "Whataya Want From Me" on all the other talk show appearances? How else would they solve this matter delicately?

Well, I guess this is appropriate for this thread. This is the latest Quick Cut info. I don't know what to make of this.

We are discussing Adam Lambert's songs, people. Nothing about Adam Lambert is normal.

If radio wants to play WWFM then make it the new single, because they sure don't want anything to do with FYE. Release it at the same time as the album and people won't even know FYE flopped

Well, I guess it's better than hanging on for weeks like "Happy" when they should have switched Leona's single a month ago. For some reason, radio seems way more receptive to WWFM than FYE.

Has RCA done this before? I don't think so. RCA is notorious for waiting gazillion years before releasing a new single when it's plain obvious that the single they picked is not working for their artist or is not doing its job anymore.

He's not Lady GaGa, he can't have three singles at once. Even for her it's risky to have Telephone already making waves. Adam can't even get one single to go up the chart, let alone two at once. I wonder if more stations will follow Z100's example.

FYE is pretty explicit. It's implications aren't at all subtle. It's about fucking someone. Adam's gay. So it's about two dudes fucking. How are people surprised that it didn't blow up? I think that's the only thing preventing it from doing well. The beat would've assured it would make the top 40, but the lack of a prominent hook (I really like the song but I can't remember the melody or the lyrics having played it around twenty times this week) would've prevented it from being a true hit.
WWFM sucks, but at least it isn't "gay" or hookless.

Stephen, you pretty much summed it up. FYE was about rough gay sex. Radio is run by straight males.
I really, really don't have to say much more than that.
WWFM just seemed to go over better, and even after OHP, it got a crapload of new spins by DJ's who just liked it.

WTF is right. FYE has only been out for.... what? 3 weeks? RCA waited so long to release FYE, and yet expected instant result. Me thinks the label is panicking at the slow response to FYE the single.

Maybe they can market FYE as the international single and then pretend that WWFM is his 1st domestic one? At least the music video won't go to waste.
