I really love the guitar (I think that's what it is - lol) that comes in right after the 2nd chorus and at the end of the song. It sounds great.

Amazon doesn't sell that many albums actually. Amazon is a pretty good barometer of how mainstream music will sell. Also, I think they make up about 10% of the music marketshare now. They've really picked it up the past several years. Not really. The Amazon buyers are not representative of the record-buying public in the U.S. Based on recent trends, Amazon's buyers tend to skew older. For instance, John Mayer (who presumably has a young fanbase, by young I mean below 30) didn't even hit #1 on Amazon. But he's going to have the #1 album next week, and from all indications it will be by a huge margin compared to the #2. 50 Cent never even reached the top 10 in Amazon pre-orders, but he'll likely finish at #2. This is the reason why Susan Boyle is blazing up the Amazon charts right now. Even though she set a record for Amazon preorders, I'm not entirely convinced this will translate to her competing for the #1 album two weeks from now. We'll see... |

What I'm interested in is how many other stations follow Z100 and KIIS's lead with this. FYE is most definitely dead, but for all we know this still doesn't have an add date (although there's definitely a label push behind it's current airplay).

I think this one has legs. And now that the album is out and he'll be doing even more promo it will help the song.
Sounds like a hit, although it would have been better by Pink or any other angry chick.´
