WPLJ is Hot AC, WBLI is Top 40. "WWFM" was a frequent #1 on WBLI's Request Countdown at 9pm. After being added, "WWFM" made the top 20 quite quickly at both stations only to plummet this week. I understand the role call out scores play but this reduction seems quite sudden and drastic. I'm concerned but wouldn't be surprised if spins picked up in the next two weeks. I have tracked many songs in the past who have similar roller coaster rides at individual stations. WBLI doesn't seem to drop much according to AllAccess25 21 ADAM LAMBERT Whataya Want From Me 30 28 2 0.18 They started high with 6-7 spins per day right after adding but have been giving about 30 spins per week for about two weeks now. The second monitored Cox Radio station, WAPE, also added it last week too, so I think it's doing okay there. The spins will start to drop soon...BLI only plays "WWFM" 2x a day now...once in the middle of the night and the second time when it's #1 on their top requests countdown at 9pm lol. On a more positive note...great update today! Thank you Z100 :) |

In the beginning Adam says he portrays one half of the couple as they struggle to cope with one of them becoming famous...which is funny b/c I always interpreted "Loaded Smile" to mean that...especially the line "Yeah I know my life has changed..." |

I always thought "Loaded Smile" and the music video for WWFM were musical and visual depictions of Adam's breakup with his boyfriend Drake. They broke up right before Adam's album dropped so that Adam could concentrate on his career. Drake even tweeted that he identified with "Loaded Smile" which is heartbreaking, considering the lyrics.
The WWFM video is STILL #1 on US and Canadian iTunes. That stayed there longer than the FYE video did, and the FYE video had a huge ad on the music video page of iTunes when it came out.

Back up to #19 in Itunes (was #20 for a while before.) WKSC don't test songs ... with that said, Chicago is a HUGE new add for the song! :) Right again Theo! 3 spins in WKSC yesterday and one already today. 4th top 5 market has joined.. only one left now is San Francisco. |
