Oh wow, even better! I texted a request in and they just texted me back saying they would play "WWFM" soon

I hope it remains in power rotation for atleast a few weeks, I want the other stations to catch up lol. Z100 has been spinning this since late November 2009 so they got a head start!

Ohmigod. Orianthi just tumbled down to #313 on iTunes. What the hell happened? She was in the Top 20-ish last time I checked. Yay for Adam being in the Top 20 again though! Hopefully he keeps going up.

That's awesome news. It was bound to happen since he's been dominating the request lines there. Really good day for Z100 cause they removed the worst two out of power (According To You and Sexy Chick) and added good ones (this and Telephone). :)

The only downside is it will be even more annoying to check the Z100 log, with Adam fans spamming there every hour.

He's been in Z100 countdowns almost every day in the past two months since they added him and that's why he got there.

it will get around 14-15 spins on z100 by the end of the day ... that's a +7 spins compared to same day last week. with the WKSC on board too today, we should expect a great AI increase too, tomorrow! SMASHING. :)

Adam's smashing it up in Canada.

WWFM is #5 overall on iTunes, the WWFM Music Video is #1 and the FYE Music Video is #5 on Canadian iTunes, and FYE the album is #10 on Canadian iTunes.

Canada loves them some Adam, apparently. Maybe Adam can find a nice Canadian boy and they can get married and live happily ever after in a country that loves and accepts them. It's a nice dream anyways.

The under-representation of queer artists is going to change as the country becomes more and more accustomed to dealing with (positively/negatively) our presence. It's a wonderful moment in history to get to be a part of.

I know America will come around and this is going to be a successful era. I hope the label doesn't push for a re-release as I believe this era can be milked 4 singles deep (only counting WWFM as 1st single). I really hope Adam smashes summer 2010. I know he'll be a hit at Pride celebrations, which I look forward to.

Very weird day for this song in NY:

WBLI & WPLj are on the verge of dropping this from their playlists (after originally embracing it) despite the song ranking #1 in requests at both stations ???

...while Z100 adds it to power rotation aka spinning every hour

I can only hope/anticipate that WBLI & WPLJ will jump on board once this goes top 20!

Why would they jump back on board once it goes top 20 when they were already on board before? It's not really smashing on Hot AC, and BLI and PLJ are Hot AC, right?

We're talking about a dude who came off Idol--being #1 in requests shouldn't be surprising. But requests aren't all that important to a radio station (unless we're talking about request countdowns)--callouts are more important. Those are random and can't be spammed. So maybe WWFM didn't get great call out scores compared with other songs on their playlists. Different formats have different listeners who like different things.

They started high with 6-7 spins per day right after adding but have been giving about 30 spins per week for about two weeks now. The second monitored Cox Radio station, WAPE, also added it last week too, so I think it's doing okay there.

As for WPLJ, ever since they added it, it has had a roller coaster ride there, going back and forth in and out of their top 10, top 20, etc. and it was already several times in their top 10 since adding it.
