JAN 19Gretchen Wilson " Greatest Hits" (Columbia Nashville) Source: Amazon Website So... 01. Redneck Woman 02. Here For The Party 03. When I Think About Cheating 04. Homewrecker 05. All Jacked Up and....? Probably going to put all the singles on there but still. That's all the real hits though. I wonder if any of the songs that were released from her new album will be on it.

I guess Gretchen releasing a GH album is her label's way of testing to see how viable an artist she is?

I guess Gretchen releasing a GH album is her label's way of testing to see how viable an artist she is? No, it was an agreement in the mutual split between her and Columbia. It was mentioned in the original press release about her departure.

I know this is a stretch for most anyone else but 'Joy' is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. I realize it's not new or anything but the song is unbelievable.

I can't believe people actually get paid to come up with these.

I agree. I love how they seemed to branch out with writers. I just added most of the songwriters. There were a few songs I couldn't find no matter how hard i tried.

He also said it was a cover of a certain song I just can't remember... But I'm not sure if he said it was gonna be on his album. Maybe it's for LeAnn's... Or it just didn't make the cut.

However, I'll still give this a listen before purchasing this before I impulsively call their sophomore project a hot mess; I hope it's not, but it could be. I tried to modify this post a few hours ago and my amendments went away. I wonder what happened?

^I think it could be the Jake Owen cover. I can hear them doing crisp and clear harmonies for that song.

Throw Moorer onto the pile of super-talented artists who deserved greater mainstream success. Judging from the news so far, it doesn't look like this will be a country record, but I'm sure it will still be fantastic.
I really hope Lady A didn't remake that dreadful Jake Owens song.
