highly doubt IKYW (although its relatively easy to play on piano compared to most of her songs). i'll even go as far as to say i don't think she'll perform all of the singles from the previous 2 albums.
edit: i took a look at some online sheet music for SWISLY and TH. those are actually do-able and aren't as difficult as most of her songs from SH and CR for the piano

OMG I am so happy! I got my wish! lol I always wanted to see Carrie play the piano on tour. I hope she does SWISLY on the piano! Wow that would be amazing!
I love the idea of carrie playing both piano and guitar on her tour because it shows diversity, and playing piano gives her a break from running around on stage so much. It could be a nice breather after singing the harder or faster songs.
Can't wait for this tour! I can't believe I get to see her the second night of the tour!

I'm kind of hoping she does a cover on the piano. Let It Be, anyone? Haha, I can dream.

That would be nice, or maybe a little Carole King. No concerts anywhere close to me yet. Maybe in the fall. If not, maybe a concert dvd. Or at the very least, some good reviews from those fans who get to go.

Are there any videos on YouTube of her playing piano?

I'm thinking SWISLY or TH on the piano. But then they might be in the mindset of doing an older song on the piano to keep it "fresh". But I don't really see a previous single that is piano-able.

Trust me, ALL songs are piano-friendly. I could see them using the piano for a sparse arrangement for So Small.

:o Carrie on piano! Can't wait to see/hear this!!! I could see them using the piano for a sparse arrangement for So Small. Same. I thought when Matt Giraud from Idol did So Small on piano, the song sounded even better than Carrie's studio version (not the vocals, I meant the instrumentation and production).

I had no clue Carrie knew/knows how to read music! Anyway, I'm very happy to see her expand in her talent to so many new things. Piano, Guitar...it's nice to see her do different things. Can't wait!!!

I think this will pleasantly surprise a lot of people that aren't really fans that don't keep up with Carrie religiously that are attending the concert.

Yeah Carrie played piano for over 8 years I think, but noone knew this but her die hard fans. lol
I do think SWISLY or TH or both will do nicely, but I could see her doing a cover song too. Maybe she will have a piano segment of the show, where she will do like 2 songs or so on the piano back to back.

I can see the piano for Change. Start off with just her playing the piano, then have an orchestra kick in towards the end. It would be similar to IKYW on the CR tour and make the message of the song even more powerful, I think.

To me, SWISLY has more of an acoustic guitar feel than a piano feel. I think the piano would work better on Temporary Home and/or Change.

Carrie just posted at the FC, sounds like the members are going to get to pick a song for the tour.

Carrie and her band only have a little under three weeks to not only have the fans choose the song (which I imagine will take a week or so), but also learn the song on the most basic level (music, lyrics, perfecting it) and then setting up a whole routine for it (special lighting? image son screens?).

I wonder if it will be selecting a cover song, or something off PO.

I confess, I literally LOL'd at her post about being related to anyone famous. I'm at the office right now so I startled some people :)

Well maybe we will pick from songs they already know. That would make it easy for them. I wonder if it'll be a new song every night or the same throughout the tour? hmmmmm.....

This cover is getting quite a number of hits and comments. Hmm, I can't help but cringe at the oversinging, but I guess the harmonies are pretty cool.

T o me, SWISLY has more of an acoustic guitar feel than a piano feel. I think the piano would work better on Temporary Home and/or Change. I agree about SWISLY. I could see that being part of an acoustic guitar set in the show. For the piano, I highly doubt they'd do IKYW, as that song is so vocally challenging that I can't see anyone being able to play the piano while singing it, unless they are a very seasoned piano player. Plus, I have a feeling IKYW won't be on the set list. :( I could see TH and SS on piano. I'd die if she did Oklahoma Wind, even though I know that is highly unlikely. But it would be amazing.

Apparently they showed a little preview of next week's HIMYM with Carrie on it...but I missed it. I think they showed her holding the little piglet, from what people are saying on twitter.
